ANNAPURNA CIRCUITTUKUCHE PEAK 6920m EXPEDITIONThis is one of the classic and most rewarding treks in Nepal The southern slopes of Manaslu and Annapurna ranges are heavily settled and Annapurna ranges are headily settled and farmed except the higher regions which support thick forests of Rhododendron and fir most of the tribes inhabiting this area Gurungs Magars Chhetris and Newars As on turn westwards into the Manang Valley and into the rain shadow of the Annapurna Ranges dramatic changes occur Though there are small fields supporting some crops of millet and wheat and small flocks of sheep and goats the Manang tribes are traditionally a trading race they are also Tibetan by origin and Buddhist by religion and their architecture and lifestyles is quite different to these tribes on the southern slopes Thakali and Mustang tribes control the busy trading and pilgrimage trail along the Kali Gandaki until move through the gap between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna into the wetter zones where can meet Gurungs and Magars On the whole trek there is not one day during which one does not have magnificent views of all the rangesTukuche peak is a wonderful mountain located just in front of Dhaulagiri Annpurna rang on the other side at the northern one of the wildest valley of Nepal hidden valley and Kaligandaki River flows its bottom The rout follows through Annapurna classic trek and divert from Marpha to the West Yak kharka and Base camp We attempt the summit 6920m about 45 days preparation in Base camp and high camp via North East Ridge Magnificent mountain views and valleys will be seen during the trek and expedition The journey came to end at Jomsom and then fly back to Kathmandu Glimpse of Trekkingexpedition Itinerary Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel Day 02Kathmandu free day preparation for trekkingexpedition Day 03Kathmandu to Beshi ShaharKhundi Ngadi 920m Drive from Kathmandu to Beshi Shahar Khundi by private Bus trek about 30 minutes through fairly easy trail to Bulbule and 2 hours to Ngadi ON at NgadiDay 04Ngadi Jagat 1290m The track continues up to Bahundanda and descent to Syange where you will see beautiful waterfall The walking hours will be about 6hrs in total to reach from Ngadi to Jagat Day 5Jagat Dharapani 1860m It also takes approximately 7hrs walking from Jagat The trail goes through Chamje village and climb steadily up to Taal a small village at the foot of a large waterfall Now the trek enters the Manang district After leaving Taal cross a large bridge to the village of Dharapani and campDay 6Dharapani Chame 2530m The trail is now bearing west Manasalu 8256m forming a splendid backdrop and Annapurna ii 7937mand Lamjung Himal 6932m appearing occasionally to the south Continue through forests of pine and fir resting at the hamlets of Charku Thangje and Kuparkoo As continue on to Chame views of the Annapurna improve dramatically Walking distance about 6hrsDay 7Chame Pisang 3000m Continuously cross the river all day passing through the narrow and steep sided gorge Nearing the village of Passing top a ride to get first views of the Manang valley a wide U shaped valley hanging between two lion of snow peaks It also takes approximately 6hrsDay 8Pisang Manang Village 3440m via Ghyaru 3700m to Ngawal 4500m After crossing Marsyandi river ascend to the broad forested valley floor follows the trial through the Gyaru village to Ngawal During the whole trek you could see huge Annapurna range including other major peaks and you may visit Ngawal monestry and Braga Walking distance about 7hrs Between Ghyaru Ngawal we will enjoy with Annapurna North range and some others Mountains Pisang Peak 6081m Peak 29 lamjung Himal 6932m Annapurna 7937m Annapurna IV 7525m Annapurna III 7555m Gngapurna Himal 7454m Tilicho Peak 7135m Chulu East6300m and Chulu Far East 6059m to the north side Day 9Manang Khangsar Rest 3734m A necessary day to rest and acclimatize and explore Manang The village of about 500flat roofed houses is picturesquely set amounts spectacular scenery Annapurna ii Annapurna iii Mlarepas Cave 4500m Monastry Gungapurna and Chulu East to the north Little trek about 2 hours to KhangsarDay 10Khangsar Tilicho basa camp 4500m The trail follows up on the Khangsar Khola and dry muddy trail to Tilicho BC There are two ways one is easy but quite long and another one is little uncomfortable to steps on trail but it is very short The campsite is situated just buttom of Tilicho Lake Walking distance approximately 5 hrsDay 11Tilicho BC Mesokanto BC4900m Starting up the ride in front of the rest house the trail reaches at Tilicho Lake and after the lunch farther proceed to climb and reach on top of Tilicho lake which is the Mesokanto BC It takes about 67 hrs to reach to the destination it is best to star earlier The tremendous views of Tilocho Lake as well mountain range Day 12Mesokanto BC Mesokanto Pass 5099m Kharka 4500m Though the crossing of the pass is technically difficult and possible snow and ice during the cross After about 3 hours reach the top and enjoy some absolutely stunning high Himalayan scenery The entire Annapurna rages in the south the Mukut and Mustang Himal to the west Dhaulagiri Nilgiri Tilico Peak and excellent views of Damodar Himal to the north Walking distance approximately 6 hrsThere is another easy pass which is non challengeable both trekkers and Nepalese staffs and the view would be the sameDay 13Kharka Jomsom 2750m Rest Today walk for at least 3 hrs down hill to reach Jomsom Through the trek one can seen Dhaulagiri Nilgiri Thapa peak Tukche and other snow caped beautiful mountains Day 14Jomsom Marpha 2670m The trek will begins early in the morning and it will be only an hour to reach Marpha Marpha is the beautiful Thakali village and Thakalis are the dominant tribe of the valley interestingly related to Gurung and Magars of the southern slopes Whole day will spend to prepare for the expeditionDay 15Marpha Yak Kharka 4500m Today the trek will be starting for a three hours walk to Alubari to take a break for lunch Then continue walking for a couple of short hours always enjoying the magnificent views of Annapurna Tilicho peak Nilgiri until reaching Yak KharkaDay 16Yak Kharka Tukche BC 5090m Retrace the steps to make an overnight camp at Tukche Base campDay 1723 Climbing period This period to the scale summit of Tukuche Peak At the beginning there will be the puja and explore around Next day the group should ascent up to the high camp fixed the camp and will back to BC Rest of other days will send on high camp summit on appropriate date and descent to Base camp as well Yak Kharka There are sufficient number of days to climb including security days if the group will able to ascent earlier as planned date then you may spend leisure time at Jmsom if there is about two days left then you may visit Muktinath by hourse which will be much interesting and will have extra entertainment on same time Day 24 Yak Kharka
