This is a generic card for you to enjoy (and you must enjoy it) that will tell you all the things that have happened in our lives since December of 2007 Let us start with January 2008 Dave quit his job at Sungard to become a fortune cookie writer Hes the guy that tells you these Confucius like quotes He enjoys his job except that he finds it difficult to cut each paper perfectly type on those tiny pieces of paper and then stuff it into an already closed fortune cookie He also does not like that his boss does not let him add in bed to the end of each fortune cookie as his boss sees it as inappropriate for the elderly children and the prudish Of course his dream job would be a Whiskey Ambassador One dayHelen began her 12th year of schooling and during the break briefly considered Clown College She figured another five years at Western for some degree to which she could get a job without the degree would be worth it She had had to explain the degree to people who did not put human and services together enough times that she could not back out now to explain what clown and college means In February Dave chose to move up to the Bellingham area to be near Helen The place he chose was about the same distance as he was before except north of Bellingham instead of south: he chose to live in Canada Helen followed him up in August and both chose to become Canadian citizens Then we ditched the burros to go across Buzzards Bay because we figured it was safer than road since the police were on to us for stealing the burros Little did we know they would have submarines on our asses No pun intended Our next destination was going to be Ireland so we used Google Maps to get there Google advised us to swim so we did Our arms grew tired but we kept on Once in Ireland we were greeted by leprechauns of course The most exciting part of our trip to Ireland was finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow Ok so it was a Hersheys Pot of Gold box of chocolate but it was still something We were famished after our dip in the pond so anything was good After our world wide trip we returned home and decided on adding a new member to our family This is in addition to our three wonderful children Molly Jake and Sebastian We decided to buy a puppy for our three beautiful smart oh-so-amazing children Our puppys name is Ginger and she is just the most perfect dog in the entire world We of course saved her from a tragic situation because we are just wonderful people like that She would have died if it wasnt for us This untrained pup with a broken leg needed a forever home so we rescued her from the horrible pound she was in She adapted quickly because we are wonderful and amazing owners Her leg has heeled and she is so well trained that she even uses the toilet properly and fetches us the morning paper She also warns us when the neighbor girl falls into the well five times this month alone When will she stop falling in Of course when the puppy becomes a grown dog the children will outgrow it and who will become responsible for her The children will not care for the dog and we parents only bought her for the children so what are we to do Finally on to the children Molly is excelling in her third grade class and receives straight As She is also taking gymnastics swimming soccer tennis is a black belt at Karate spins dishes on sticks and we just went to Portland Oregon to watch her win a gymnastic competition-her 23rd one this year Jake is a fantastic 6 year old who is so giving and so caring Yes Helen did give birth to him Whether or not Dave is the father is going to be one of our little secrets He is doing well in school Never mind that he got kicked out of class and is the only six year old to be expelled from Sunny Place Elementary School This letter is all about bragging about how wonderful our life is and how fantastically we raised our children so regardless of what theyre really like we will present them in the best light possible Sebastian turned 16 last week and has already wrecked the brand new car we bought him So we bought him a new one He enjoys being called Seb lately as he does not like the name we gave him because it reminds him of the crab in the Little Mermaid (after all we did name him after the movie) and apparently Seb is cool with the teenagers these days It was a cute name when he was bornso what went wrong Oh yeah he grew up He is on the basketball team but is not very good at all We are expecting a fourth child (because we love to reproduce and cant get enough of it) any day now and are naming her Elektronik Deevise Moonshadow because its all the rage naming our children something odd I forget we arent celebrities but we certainly like thinking we are Hate to cut this short but our obnoxious kids are fighting over the Wii again We have Playstation Xbox Gameboy Sega Genesis Nintendo Leap Frog a PSP and a Nintendo DS to choose from too Why wont Molly play with one of the 500 Hannah Montana things Mommy and Daddy bought for her We are off to grumble on how she could have so much Hannah Montana stuff and not even realize we are to blame for contributing to our childrens merchandise Care stopped the medication cycle n nRelationship crisis and burn out drove Jonna Nygren to take care of herself with medication and liquor People close to her found the lonely rock wife and took her to rehab 'Then I realized it isn't a shame to ask for help' n nJONNA NYGREN broken up with Ville Valo nI returned stronger from the rehab n nIn the world of society columns Jonna Nygren 27 should have been a lucky girl There Jonna lives as a rock wife for the lead singer Ville Valo 30 of the most successful Finnish band Him She spinned around in celebrity-model events and got her own show to host at Moon-tv Sub-tv and latest MTV n nThe couple got engaged last summer in Provinssirock and instead of rings they got tattoos on their fingers and bought a house from Helsinki's most expensive neighborhood The fans cried for the taken Ville and Jonna got suggestions for an interview with the idea of 'Finland's most hated normal person' She declined for that story but in an other revealed that the couple were thinking of names for future children Ville praised the power of relationship and told that his lady was hoping for a winter wedding n nAt the change of the year mud was thrown over the dream headlines Jonna threw a fit in a bar and screamed holes in her mans ear Ville thought to be a gentleman shook the peace of the high class building made noise and threatened the neighbor The rocker ended up in jail n nIn the beginning of March there were news of the couples shock break up A few column weeks later Jonna ended up in an hospital Jonna says she has heard dozens of reasons and versions of why and in what care she ended up in Now shes feeling good enough to tell what was really going on behind the tabloids n n-The most ridiculous comment came from a half acquaintance According to that I was partying so wildly after the break up that I ended up in rehab Right last months have been absolutely hilarious my life continuous May day Things really aren't the way everybody thinks they are Jonna corrects nWell how are they then n nGoing asleep and waking up with medication n nIn the beginning of May the tabloids were screaming 'Break up from Ville drove to a vicious circle- nJONNA WENT TO REHAB nIn reality burn out and its self medication drove Jonna to rehab Jonna counts that her problems started about half a year ago When Ville was touring with Him Jonna lived alone in the couples' apartment and killed time with working Too much n nReal life really wasn't just living as a rock wife Jonna has worked in restaurant business her whole working life and in addition to that has done modeling jobs and TV-hosting The shifts at the favorite restaurants of Helsinki could stretch out to 3 am and waking up for the days hosting job was at 5am She started feeling overtired and irritated Even though the fatigue weighted heavy sleep didn't come n n-I was always tense weepy and depressed Was so damn tired but just had to go on I was constantly taking more work although I wasn't feeling good n nJonna started medicating her insomnia and bad feelings n n-When I got home in the evenings I drank red wine so I could relax Sleep on the other hand didn't come without tranquilizers or sleeping pills That lead to that I in the morning had to stuff my face full with caffeine tablets because the usual coffee wakening didn't help anymore she tells n nOver-tiredness stress and pressure of the relationship got deeper and worse It was a full job for Jonna to get out of her house and take care of the agreed shifts but still she couldn't recognize the condition she was getting into n n-In that treadwheel I didn't even notice the symptoms of depression I felt violent anxiety and often felt like crying but didn't stop to think what was wrong with me n nThe final stop came in the middle of March when Jonna withdrew to her home n n-I was drinking by myself and was physically so dead tired that I couldn't even drag myself to the bathroom or the toilet Everything felt so overwhelming My friends came to visit and found me in the apartment in a confused state of mind I hadn't showered for a week I didn't have strenght for anything n nThe friends stayed for the night to support Jonna and contacted her mother The psychiatric-mother who works with youngsters who have drug problems understood immediately that now care was needed not scolding n n-Only after the others came for help I realized that this is what I needed I felt enormously relieved It felt like a rock had been lifted from me when I was found and I got to say that I needed help n nMother guided to rehab n nAlthough the ultimate reason for Jonnas sickness were depression and over-tiredness firstly the drug dependence that had formed in the near months had to be taken care of Jonna was guided to the Aurora hospital in Helsinki but that didn't feel like the right place not in her or the doctors opinion With mothers advice she went to Pellas which is specialized for rehabitation n n-In the connection you talk about drug rehab Though I wasn't doing drugs my medication dependency needed the same kind of treatment n nJonna praises Pellas' 11-person rehabitation center A home-like atmosphere and an intimate spirit dominated the little unit n n-The other recoveries were amazing personalities I don't remember laughing so much in ages We nwere able to laugh at ourselves and our restlessness That helped the recovery On the other hand you realized it isn't a shame to ask for help There are others alike n nOnly in the rehab Jonna realized in what a bad shape she had been in nShe portrays herself as a performer who tries to please everybody from friend to employer n n-I like to take care of others That way you forget your own troubles A nurse in Pallas reminded me that now I was resting myself There I realized that I don't have to be a superwoman and assiduously assure that I can handle everything Its ok to say that I'm completely dead tired n nPallas concentrates on resting discussing eating well and exercising Jonna had lost weight and was in a fragile condition so rehab and insomnia were tough for the body too n n-I did handiwork when I got an allowance for knitting needles They were forbidden in the house rules but luckily the nurses saw that knitting is an effective way for me to calm down n nJonna was in Pellas for a month During that time she was only in contact with her mother The rest of the world had to wait n n-When the month came to close the thought of leaving was frightening I had gotten used to having support near My other life had been on pause for the whole treatment and I was nervous on what kind of pressures I would encounter in the outer world n nAfter the rehab Jonna started therapy At first she had a threshold with talking to a complete stranger When the beginning reservedness was gotten over with the care-relationship became encouraging Therapy concentrates on taking care of the depression and finding out where it all started A therapist doesn't give you advice but helps you think and understand n n-I have learned enormously about myself and realized how things are connected to each other and how our experiences affect us This has been an interesting journey in myself and it probably would suit everybody even if they weren't going through a dramatic stop like this n nVille calls daily n nThe relationship was ended over the phone- VILLE DUMPED JONNA The engaged couples break was in the tabloids in the beginning of March It was told that Ville left Jonna with a text message Jonna doesn't talk about Ville and herself as we anymore Instead of a break up she would rather call it a break She doesn't want to chew over the reasons of the break here n n-We were both drunk then one in Athens one in Finland We were having a war with text messages racingly sending each other mean bitchy messages It was a blunder episode of two drunkards where one was trying to focus on its job the other on keeping its head together Intoxication is the right state when going through these kinds of things sneers Jonna n nThe relationship that has laster for three years is on penalty until Ville gets back to Finland from his American tour when the couple gets to talk face to face The rumors of a complete break up are rubbish n n-We talk together on the phone daily Ville always calls when hes going to sleep and again when he has woken up We talk about this and that How are you eating porridge what are you doing watching a movie n nJonna reminds that every relationship has problems that are not supposed to be straightened out over the phone You have to talk these things through face to face n n-Even though it's hard to believe things have a habit of straightening out I have my idea on how things are gonna continue and where I'll in the end settle up in but thats between us n nFor now Jonna lives with her mother in Hyvink The ex-couples home in Kaivopuisto is on sale and Ville has gotten a new house from Munkkiniemi n nJonna admits that a traveling job caused pressure in the relationship but that staying apart also had its charm Both got time for their selves and the moments shared together are even more appreciated Jonna toured around with Him in few occasions for the longest she was with them on the American tour Jonna was also going to go to Australia and Japan but her sickness ruined the plans n n-Only on the road I realized what a hard job the guys are doing In the morning you wake up to do interviews then you transfer to where the gig is taking place In the night you move to the next target where the routines are repeated Glamour is far from it and everyone who manages tour life deserves respect n nIt also takes guts for them who stay at home n n-Maybe even more than for the one who leaves Jonna remarks n nThe one on the road has its traveling routines and can focus tightly on working but frustration and longing lurks to the one waiting at home n n-But I don't blame the job for what happened between us When I got into the relationship Ville was already a successful rockstar and I did know where I got myself into n nTo the brake up fuss Jonna takes a humorous stand n n-Luckily after it came the break up of the Kirvesniemis Jonna laughs dryly All respect to their relationship but from my point of view it was a relief that the public got something else to talk about n nThe seething gypsy blood n nJonna threw a fit EARDRUM RIPPED In the end of last year Jonna screamed herself to the tabloids after a night that went too wild They were playing spin the bottle with a group of friends until Jonna lost her nerve and screamed so that the eardrum of Ville who was sitting next to her ripped If the hole had been any bigger Ville would have ended the boys of Nightwish here it goes Jonna smiles tamely n nShe believes that one day this will be laughed about although now its shameful n n-Never in my life have I been so sorry about anything or to anybody then I am about that stunt n nJonna describes herself to be a mood person who cries as easily as laughs Emotions are not held back n n-I let everything come out in the moment I feel like it My friends are used to it and let me rage for a while because they know I'll get back to normal soon I guess it's my seething gypsy blood says Jonna motioning to her gypsy grandfather n nIt was probably the gypsy blood in her when she at the age of 8 told her mother she was moving out of Finland when she grows up Her friends would become hairdressers nurses and truck drivers she would be a traveler At the age of 17 she left to Helsinki for a few days holiday and forgot herself in her friends house for a month and later moved there entirely A few years later she ended up in New York just as spontaniously: a one month holiday expanded to three years nJonnas and Ville Valos roads crossed for the first time in 2003 when Jonna was visiting Finland She was slowly planning on returning to Finland but when the love flamed the plans speeded up n nJonna says she wasn't the least bit interested in standing in publicity next to Ville and didn't let it change her life She had gotten her own share of publicity with her jobs on Moon-TV Sub-TV and now on MTV To gossiping Jonna has an uncaring attitude n n-Half acquitances call and tell things on our behalf So what That doesn't feel like anything There are always lurkers and I don't view them as my friends We had a habit of sending SMS on who found the most 'bomb' headline n nWhat doesn't piss you off anymore strengthens n nTHE SICK LEAVE CONINUES STILL told the tabloids but Jonna is on the better half of the recovery Therapy continues regularly and Jonna has slowly returned to restaurant jobs When MTVs Headbangers ball returns from the summer brake Jonna will continue to host it n nRight after the rehab Jonna felt like the normal life wouldn't work She wasn't able to sleep and couldn't find a good rhythm n n-The next phase was what doesn't kill pisses you off With the support of others I could carry on even if it was strength taking Then came the best phase of recovery: What doesn't piss you off anymore strengthens I could look back and notice that jes- I went through quite a mess but came through as a much stronger human I understand myself others and the society better n nJonna used to think that exhaustion was a sign of weakness Close relations and doctors have praised her to be brave she did confess she needed help and even told the public about her hell n n-Going to rehab was the best opinion for me at that moment I wasn't the first definitely not the last and asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of n nJonna is thankful for the support her friends gave her She hadn't realized how many people she had who cared about her n n-Though then there are those who think I was in rehab because I was crazy n nJonna admits that she couldn't have survived without the help of her mother Mom knew that instead of condemnation understanding was needed It would have been easy to turn your back on your drunkard and take a condemnated attitude n n-My mother was an absolutely fabulous help and the tough experience has brought us together Lets see when I bear to leave from her There we lay next to my mom my little sister and I Right now it's the safest place on earth

There is a very good translation about the article made by Province: n nJonna Nygren 25 has a strong handshake Her glance is straight and eyes amazingly green like emeralds Her fianc s eyes are the same with a hint of Aegean ocean s blue in them Abroad people often think that HIM s frontman and his model fiance 173cm and 50kg are siblings Even their mothers agree that they look suprisingly alike n nJonna has some Gypsy blood running through her veins n- That s why I ve had a very strict upbringing My grandpa made sure that everyone had good table manners Parents have to be respected You have to be honest Jonna explains nJonna s mother was 17 when she got married to the blue-eyed white man Jonna was born first then her little brother Jonna s father now has three sons with his new wife the youngest is only one and a half years old Jonna s mother on the other hand has a seven-year-old daughter n- I love my little sister and brothers very much Mom and Dad have always been my real parents But because they are so young we re probably more like friends than what average children and parents are n nJonna says that she and Ville want to have children too But they are in no hurry Ville s only 28 after all n- I suffer from a terrible fear of giving birth though I wonder how I could get rid of that Maybe it fades once you get pregnant Surely they ll get the baby out somehow nJonna doesn t think that getting married is absolutely necessary even if they d like to have children n- Oh the children would be ba-stards she laughs n nEventhough Jonna s been the host for music programs on MoonTV and SubTV and worked as a model for Paparazzi she is somewhat of a stranger to the major public except as Ville s girlfriend and now fiance The reason probably is that she lived mainly abroad for three years She lived in Manhattan with some models she knew until she rented a 20 square meter flat for herself In summer she used to come to Finland to work at restaurants and the winters she spent in Thailand Indonesia and Malaysia n- Apart from English I also speak some Bahasa Indonesia because I used to live in small fishing villages away from tourism Altough there were some surfers there every now and then I don t surf myself because I don t like the water I can t stand it when I can t see the bottom of the sea I suffer from a mild fear of closed-in places n- But I like the Asian culture Eventhough Europeans would think that they re lives are in very bad condition they can still be happy n nOne of Jonna s Finnish-English friends has founded a Children s home in Nepal Jonna is planning on going there to work and help out someday for longer than just a few days n- My dream is to study to become a child therapist when I m older I d like to be able to help the abused little ones Many have to suffer a lot of damage because of their parents substance misuse problems or sexual abuse for example nJonna s mother works as a therapist n- Mother Amma and her messages to the world are important to me When I read her books it makes me want to care about people the same way without demanding anything from anyone n nSoon it s been two years since Jonna started going out with a man that many girls and boys would like more than just HIM s music from n- In Finland we basically just hang out Watch dvds at home and meet friends in safe circles Ville is the cook in our family He cooks lovely Eastern food nJonna can't get Ville to join her at the public swimming pool where she goes to exercise and do water walking n- At our friends summer places we can then relax naked I fell asleep in the sun a couple weeks ago so now I definitely don't have any sun lines she smiles n nThe love for Ville Valo was the final reason for Jonna to return to Finland in November two years ago n- The other reason was Finland s cheap medical care In New York I had to spend hundreds of dollars a week to a doctor The pollution and the air-conditioning indoors made my asthma so bad that I had to breath with the help of an apparatus nJonna s health has gotten better in Finland But still she never leaves home without her inhaler n- I had to quit smoking because my asthma got worse Nowadays I smoke whenever I m at a bar I simply like to have a smoke when I m drinking Of course it s not wise - it wasn t wise when I did ballet and show dance and modern dance either nAnd of course smoking doesn t fit a person who goes to the gym in winter to run on a treadmill and goes jogging for an hour every summer morning n- No I don t have poles with me I can go fast enough without them she laughs at my question n nShe hasn t got her singer-songwriter excited about extra sports n- I never think of Ville as the Ville Valo from HIM who s already before the age of 30 earned so much money with his music that he d never have to work again to live a normal life n- I consider Ville to be normal guy All the fans and stuff seem really weird for me nThe magazines reported earlier that Ville and Jonna got engaged at Ruisrock and got theirselves Dilligaf tattoos that stand for Do I Look Like I Give A Fck n- Actually we ve been engaged for a long time already We got our engagement tattoos at Ruisrock though but they re not Dilligaf Jonna says and shows me her left ring finger that has a beautiful V on it Ville has a J on his n- I have eleven tattoos They are just pieces of flesh Also Ville s V on my finger is a piece of flesh just like we re a piece of each other s lives If we break up someday that part of our lives will be over nJonna doesn t wish that to happen though That s why she doesn t want to get a permanent job even in television although she is fascinated by it That s why she is working as a waitress and a model n- I don t want to be clinging to Ville at every gig he does But I want to be able to go with him when we both feel like it

Some of the photos are of the Tulum Ruins we visited right down the beach from our resort There are also a lot of photos of the Chichnitze ruins Ik Kil was a beautiful cenote we visited that was so awesome It is hard to understand the size of it from the photos until you see one with people in it It was huge The tree roots hanging down into the water were so interesting Water was cascading down in different places as well I did not get in the water but I was told it was around 72 degrees The foliage around this place was awesome It was a little area of paradise in the middle of the jungle n n n nWe also visited the little town of Pueblo Tulum and walked up and down the main strip that was lined with several local vendors selling homemade goods and homegrown fruits and vegetables yes I took photos of the butcher shop that was open air but I did not get the dog in the pic Also of the internet cafes that I thought were very odd and a few other interesting buildings The people were nice and smiled at us but most did not speak English there Looking down the streets beyond the commerce blocks were very dirty and deteriorated It was very sad when people would smile at you and have so few teeth We passed a public help building as well that had people lined up down the sidewalk I did not take a picture of them as I felt it would be rude n n n nWe rode in a taxi for an hour to get to Playa del Carmen and walked the 12 block 5th Avenue shoppingrestaurant district It was interesting A lot of the same items were for sale in many shops and street people trying anything to get you in to buy their stuff They had a lot of these pharmacies where you could buy anything you wanted without a prescription which was so weird We also had about 10 people come up to us asking if we wanted to buy drugs (the illegal kind) It was very disturbing I was definitely ready to leave this area after 3 hours even though you could see the beach and the ferry to Cozumel was a couple of blocks over It was annoying people yelling at you nonstop trying to sell you crap Lady lady come see my stuff n n n nWe went through a lot of little villages that were very run down and depressing We spent a couple of hours in a taxi and talking with the driver about his life was one of the most interesting conversations Just to learn about how his life really is gives me such a different perspective on things His name was Humberto (I think) married 16 years 2 boys 1 girl taught English by a friend just by repeating phrases and conversation His friend told him he would have better work opportunities if he learned English He used to be the bellboy at the resort we were staying at but then he had the chance to take the taxi driver test Now he works 5AM to 10PM 6 days a week He does not have a car but he said if he works for the taxi company for 5 or 6 years he will have a chance to get a car to take home so his boys can also drive the taxi and earn money for the family So he was very excited about that opportunity He was very proud of his daughter for placing third in all of the Yucatan Peninsula area in an academic competition He was a very sweet man and was very happy go lucky He even had some homemade cds with American music on them he played while we were in the car I wish I had gotten his address I would have mailed him some new ones with updated music ( I still might try to get his address I still remember his cab number n n n nAfter seeing the conditions in Mexico behind all of the fancy resorts and tourist areas I understand why so many Mexicans want to migrate to the US They just want better opportunities for their families I do not blame them at all n n n nAll in all it was a good trip even though I got sick I didnt drink the water I am not sure what got me but I am guessing some food that was not prepared properly at the natural water park Xel Ha or maybe I inhaled some of the water when we were snorkeling We had a good time and we both learned a lot It is a beautiful place but definitely has its share of social issues caring for the people that live there Hopefully one day it can improve n n n nWell I know I went on for a while I hope you enjoy the pics and the stories

This 1957 Buick 4dr Hardtop was found in a barn a few months ago It is original I purchsed it from the second owners They told me they had owned it since the 70's The original owner was the proverbial Little old Lady who drove it to the store once a week She is reportedly still alive and in her late 90's The car has the 364 V-8 and auto transmisssion The glass is all good The paint is faded but the body is very straight It has new mufflers on the factory dual exhaust system The tires are in great shape It is two toned blue and has matching interior The car could be restored or driven as is I have run out of room There is an almost identical car for sale on Craigslist currently for over 27000 That car has been completly restored That car looks spectacular This is pretty special car for about 22000 less Call Brian (360) 624-1712nnhttp:portlandcraigslistorgclkcto1443896003html

Thanks to the power of Open Canvas 11 and the glourious movie Kung Fu Pandainsparation was born nThe outline of course is not mine because I can't draw to save my life I got this from a FREE coloring page site: nhttp:wwwhellokidscomr447coloringkid-s-favorite-character-coloring-pageskung-fu-panda-coloring-pages n nAnyway this is Hei-Bai (yes I'm aware there is already a panda in the animated unvierse with this name but this name suits his personality) MOVING ON n nHis story takes place 2 12 months after Po his son is born He is a middle-income wage farmer not earning to much money but enough to buy good looking clothes from the merchant in town And enough to get food on the table He grows onions on his farm and brings them into market everyday but some of the villagers the son of the mayor are not to friendly with him They knock over his onion cart and taunt him usually he lets stuff like that go but after endless months of pileing upenough is enough He trains at home you can often see him outside practiing on the scarecrow He eventually on his own masters the state of Hungar Kung Fu it requires you to be low to the ground n nHe bids his wife and son farewell knowing he'll probably be aressted for treason His wife pleades with him but he does not listen He goes into town and beats the mayor's son not hurting him that badly but still gets sent to jail About a week or so later in the dead of night Tanuki (racoon-dog) and Rhino bandits attack the village All the towns' people have been scurrying around in panic including Po and his mother Hei-Bai is inside the village begging to be let out the mayor agrees and Hei-Bai unleashes his spell-binding awesomeness aganist the bandits Somehow in the mix-up Po has been seperated from his mom and a Tanuki is about to slash him with a sword but Hei-Bai saves him just in the knick of time Unfortonley Hei-Bai didn't dodge the sword quick enough and got a stabright in the chest He has enough energy to finish of the final bandits and protect his son but by morning he is saying his final words Po is by his father's face muttering in baby talk as Hei-Bai tells his son to look after his mother and etc He then passes on -- n nDesign: I wanted to make him appear like he was middle class but still kind of a cow-poke So I gave him kind of musty cloak something the traditional Chinese farmer might wear along with his hat He also has a hand-carved bamboo staff he probably made it outside his house or something like that I made him a little scruffy near his belly and I gave him a black nose bridge n nOC- Po n nKung Fu Panda (c) Dreamworks Animation Hei-Bai (c) to me nI'm not doing this for profit please support the official release of Kung Fu Panda

Do animals know they have been releasednMy stay at Isan gave me opportunities to visit old temples temples of kei ji ajarn like Ajarn Mun and LP Funn (forest monk) and of cos release animals to their natural habitat I tried to visit the market at least once a week cos it was so boring after work and I had no place to go I would cycle from the uni to the market and it took me an average of 30 mins and along the way you could see animals like cows buffalos roosters fighting cocks hens chicks nducks geese doggies snakes and so on Have you ever wonder when we release these animals back to their own natural habitat do they know and do they feel appreciated My answer is Yes Not once but twice when I bought tortoises from the market and released them at the big pond next to the entrance of the uni they actally did look back and take a good look at me I waved a them and told them go go and take care They seemed to understand and off they go

The Northern Mockingbird has an endless songbook and commonly mocks 10 or 15 different birds You have to look for white feathers on the edges of the tail feathers when the bird flies A Northern Mockingbird doesn't fly in rhythmic motion It seems to be a cluttered flapping that never produces a smooth flight but more of a jerky jaunt from tree to treeTheir singing sometimes never ends and can often be heard singing at night They love to harass birds and will peck on the heads of unsuspecting cats They seem to enjoy taunting animals with their bright white wing patches If you are fortunate enough to get one in your backyard be ready for endless portrait opportunities I think they are very nice birds to have around You can see those white tail feathers along the edges of the tail in my photo He was last here on May 9 2010 so it will be 2 years this May since they are landed in my backyard They didn't stay longer than a week or two when they were here in May 2010 and may not stop again Though they did make good use of the suet cake

I used Chelsea Handler's book to save my beach spot every morning in Punta Cana -- most travelers to the Dominican Republica and the Caribbean are foreigners these days and not American -- Bush scrwed us up so bad we can't travel -- but they weren't sure how to handler chelsea so no one ever took my book :) Here's my column on it: A Gold Medal Olympic Vacation Competition n nBy RAY HANANIA n nThe competition for the Gold Medal was Olympic Not in Beijing but on the beaches of Punta Cana where I spent a week researching Cuban cigars and teaching my son the basics of how to survive in the real world n nEvery morning I would get to the beach at 6:30 in a fierce race with teams representing Russia China Italy France and Spain and a field of 130 others There were only 10 perfect palm tree covered cabanas on the beach and you had to get there early to claim one n nWhats the point of going to a beautiful paradise beach if you are going to schelp in at 11 and plop down on a towel in the sand n nI can report that Ive won the competition every morning Boo-rah for the American team Well I guess Im considered about as American as Yao Ming (OK Hes an exception a Chinese-born athlete who plays for the Houston Rockets basketball team In the Olympics he plays for China) Did you ever notice that when mentioning American athletes of certain ethnic and racial backgrounds they always mention their race but never the ethnicity of Americans like Michael Phelps n nAnyway back to my own Olympic Gold Medal competition in Punta Cana at the Bavara Princess Beach n nTheres an art to securing lounge chairs and a cabana Its the same no matter where you go in the Caribbean except that the world has changed Dramatically It used to be that places like this were filled with arrogant and obnoxious American tourists n nWell thats changed Today the resorts in the Caribbean are filled with Europeans Russians and Asians enjoying the fact that President Bush screwed up our economy with the stupid Iraq war (OK thats my last political reference Just kidding) Our dollar is worth less than a peso and I dont care what Central American country you visit It buys nothing n nBut I wouldnt let that deter me I rushed out research in hand and made my way in a 3600-foot dash for the beach And every morning beat the Russian by a nose (thats where being Arab comes in handy I guess) And the French the Chinese and the guy with the full body tatoo n nThey were right behind me and there was no courtesy good mornings or hellos In any language We were all there for one purpose Keep our wives from screaming at us when we didnt get the best spots n nThere is an art to saving seats You reserve them at 6:30 am and dont get back until around 11 after breakfast so you have a lot of faith that despite the tourists (any ethnicity) they will be there when you return n nYou keep the towels from the day before and lay them on the lounge chair stretched out and tucked in the niche in the back of the head rest and push that down to lock it in 50 Points n nThen you put a book youve either already read and dont care if its stolen or one no one will touch I had Chelsea Handlers book (Chelsea Lately) and made sure the cover faced out every morning (Actually Chelseas book is hilarious but none of the foreigners could figure out who she was so it was a safe bet not to get stolen) 2535 points n nThen to play to the sympathy of the crowd I put my sons little sand buckets and shovels on the chair 1915 points n nBoo-Rah n nThis happened every morning like clockwork and as I said representing the American team WE WON 945 points (If I can add right) n nNo one said hi Mainly because we couldnt speak anyone elses language I think But still The first morning I tried and said Isnt it like a vacation Your wife makes you run out at 6:30 to grab a lounge chair too And the guy walking fast next to me 25 mph just grunted with a Spanish accent Thats when I knew the competition was real n nAnd all of the men sat out there looking at each other Until exactly 7:22 am when the tall blond haired Swedish woman jogged past n nTopless n nSlowly n nPriceless n n n nE-mail this column to a friend n n n-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- n n n(Ray Hanania can be reached at rayhananiacomcastnet His weekly TV Show 30 Minutes is broadcast every Friday at 7 pm on Channel 19 in Oak Lawn Burbank and Bridgeview) n n nServing readers in Orland Park Tinley Park Frankfort Mokena Palos Park Palos Hills Palos Heights Oak Lawn Burbank Bridgeview

At the foothills of the Himalayas along the banks of the sacred river Ganges lies the town of Rishikesh The first town this holy river reaches on its decent from the mountains Rishikesh is home to many ashrams and most major Indian ashram including Vivekenanda Sivananda Osho Bihar school of yoga have an office there It is a good place to experience classical Indian yoga Class instruction may leave a few gaps for students used to the precision of western classes but with its slow and spiritual atmosphere it's an enjoyable place to begin discovering what India has to offer Rishikesh is less intense than other parts of India probably because people have religion on their minds Most people are very friendly and quick to say hello or namasten As a pilgrimage point Rishikesh greets many devout Hindus and wandering sadhus (holy men) Many come to bathe in the sanctified waters of the Ganges as Hindus believe this can remove layers of karma This peaceful ashram centre is certainly one of the more atmospheric places in India As the sun rises from behind the mountains and cuts through the fog locals wash in the river Live temple chanting sets the tone Beginning around 4 am the chants float across the water until well after dark During night time pujas (ceremonies) offerings of hundreds of camphor flame leaf boats float picturesquely on the rivernThe commercial centre is more typical of India But there is little need to visit it as the ashram centre located on either side of a footbridge over the river has great bookshops good restaurants and email places As a holy city Rishikesh is fully vegetarian so you won't even find an egg there Rishikesh hosts an International Yoga Festival which is held every year in the first week of February

Make Your Teen Your Focus n nGive your teens your full attention I know that this is a toughie because we tend to be so busy It seems as if we are always multi-tasking However it is important in clear communicating that you make a point of stopping what you are doing and really listen to your teens (rather than just hearing him) wow gold n nWhen you give your teens your undivided attention they will know that you care because you took the time to listen thereby increasing the chances that they will listen to you n n2 Get the Details n nHear what your teen is really saying Teens tend to give so he decided to punish all of us by giving us a math test tomorrow nParent: That doesn't sound very fair nTeen: No it isn't fair at all I wanted to go over to Rachel's tonight to hang out and listen to music Instead I have to study for that stupid test I am so mad at my teacher He ruins everything nParent: (Just listening) n nThis teen was able to express herself and she felt validated by her parent n nYou will notice that the parent didn't argue about the feelings the teen had The parent listened and was not judgmental You don't have to agree with your teens feelings World Of Warcraft powerlevelingYou only need to acknowledge them There is no such thing as a wrong feeling We cant help what our teens may feel We should set limits however on behaviors that dont conform to what we consider to be appropriate behavior n nExpressing one's feelings is a healthy thing although negative expressions of ones feelings should be avoidedWorld Of Warcraft powerlevelingsuch as screaming or name calling A good way to avoid this is using time-outs--wait and continue the conversation when everybody has calmed down n n3 Open-Ended Questions n nQuestions can be crucial to communicating with your teens Ask questions that they can't answer with only a yes or a no n nFor example in the above scenario the parent could ask the teen What could you do to help your teacher change his mind about the test n nTeen: I am not sure This guy is so stubborn nParent: What if you talk to him and come up with better ways for him to deal with the kids that aren't doing their homework nTeen: Mmhhh maybe I could give it a try n n4 Criticize Behavior Not Your Teen n nMoving from the listening to the talking part of communication your focus shifts When you want to see a change in your teens behavior using the following structure can be very helpful When you I feel because I need This wording (known as I message) doesn't attack your teens personality Instead it merely talks about an action of theirs that you'd like to change and why n nHere is a scenario you might relate to: World Of Warcraft powerlevelingThe chores were not done Your teen went out instead This example does not show the best way of communicating It is a personal attack and makes statements you may not stick to anyway n nParent: You didn't do your chores You are such a lazy slob You never do your chores and I always have to do them for you World Of Warcraft powerlevelingNext time you don't do them I am going to ground you for a week nTeen: (Feels pretty lousy) n nNow here is an example using the I technique: n nParent: When you didn't do your chores before going out I felt really mad We had an agreement about chores being done before going out and I need you to do nyour part of the chores or I am stuck doing them for you nTeen: (Thinking) I guess that makes sense n nRemember when you start a sentence with nYou are such and such you arent ncommunicating You are criticizing n n5 Let the Consequence Fit the Action n nA fairly big problem that parents run into is looking for suitable punishment for broken ruleswow powerlevelingHowever the penalty applied usually isn't related to the teens action As parents we need to show our teens that each choice they make has consequences but the discipline needs to be appropriate n nParents tend to punish their teens by taking away something the adolescent enjoys World Of Warcraft powerlevelingfor example no TV for a week Lets take the earlier example of the chores not being done such as the laundry left in a heap It would be more beneficial to the development of your teen if you base the penalty on a natural connection between his action and the punishment A good way of showing the consequences to his action in this instance would be having him do your laundry as well as his next timeworld of warcraft power levelingsince you had to do his this time When following such a step you are practicing silent communication This means letting him experience the natural consequences of his actions This technique speaks louder than any words ever could It illustrates to all people that they will be held accountable for what they do n nAs they grow teens tend to receive more privileges from parents It is important for them to realize that more responsibility goes along with the extra freedom n n6 Using Descriptive Praise n nWe all praise our teen sometimes We tell them You are a smart kid Perhaps you might say You are a good piano player We mean well but unfortunately this kind of praise doesn't bring the desired effect of making your teen feel good about himself wow power levelingWhy is that It is because what we are doing is evaluating their actions With this type of praise we arent giving evidence to support our claims and this makes the praise fall flat and seem empty and unconvincing n nWe need to describe in detail what they are doing As your teen recognizes the truth in your words he can then evaluate his actions and credit himself where he feels the praise has merit n nHere is an example with evaluating praise: n nTeen: Hey Ma I got a 90 on my geometry test nParent: Fantastic You are a genius nTeen: (Thinking) I wish I only got it 'cause Paul helped me study He is the genius n nHere is an example with descriptive praise: n nTeen: Hey Ma I got a 90 on my geometry test nParent: You must be so pleased You did a lot of studying for that test nTeen: (Thinking) I can really do geometry when I work at it n nDescribing your teens action rather then evaluating them with an easy good or great or labeling them with slow learner or scatterbrain isn't easy to do at first because we are all unaccustomed to doing that However wow power levelingonce you get into the habit of looking carefully at your teen's action and putting into words what you see you will do it more and more easily and with growing pleasure n nAdolescents need the kind of emotional nourishment that will help them become independent creative thinkers and doers wow power levelingwho aren't looking to others for approval all the time With this sort of praise teens will trust themselves and they wont need everybody else's opinion to tell them how they are doing n nAnother challenging problem concerns when and how we criticize our teens Instead of pointing out what's wrong with your teens actions wow power levelingtry describing what is right followed by what still needs doing n nExample: Your teen hasn't done his laundry yet n nParent: How is the laundry coming nTeen: I am working on it nParent: I see that you picked up your clothes in your room and in the family room and put it in the hamper You are half way there n nThis parent talks with encouragementwow power levelingacknowledging what has been done so far rather then pointing out what hasn't been done yet n nFor more helpful information and examples on good communication with your child I highly recommend a book by Adele Faber Elaine Mazlish called How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So They Will Talk published by Harper ISBN 0380811960 n nTheres a teen version of the book called How to Talk so Teens Will Listen ISBN Circa 1950 at Emma Bells farm a few miles from Brady OK (population 8) Edna Bagzis with Larry Bagzis (age 4) center and Anthony Bagzis (age 6) on the right And what would Tony be holding but a gun in this case a BB gun held by the strap In the back ground is an out building called a smoke house where meat would be preserved in a process that dates back more than 1000 years Before the days in which electricity became available in rural America (only 10 of US farms had electricity prior to 1930) this was the process used on most farms to preserve meat While approximately 90 of farms had electricity by 1940 due to the sparce population of farms in central Oklahoma Emma Bell's farm did not have electrical service until the mid-1950 (apparently pushed to completion for the 50 year semicentennial held in 1957) We kids liked the use of kerosene lamps and a real ice box which held a 25 pound block of ice inside to keep the contents cool Being city boys we found drinking warm milk right straight from the cows not to our liking Meat to be preserved was deboned and then packed with salt and let set for 6 days with the salt being changed every 2 days Before transferring the meat into the smokehouse a moderate sized fire was built and let burn down to just glowing charcoal The meat was then hung from rafers in the smokehouse and kept 4 or 5 feet off the ground Then green hardwoods like hickory or apple were placed on the glowing charcoal to make the smoke (softwoods like pine give a bad taste to the meat) The smoldering fire was kept burning for about a week (4 to 5 days absolute minimum) The inside temperature is held about 130 F to essentially dry the heavily salted meat The sides of the smokehouse had vents to allow a little air in to keep the fire burning slowly and let the smoke out After the meat was cured the smokehouse was closed up securely to keep vermine out and the meat was stored up to a year in the smokehouse Of course it was a good idea to have pleanty of cats around for mice control

My first non-UC Gundam recolor It's been getting alot harder to make these custom recolors lately and my Zaku II and Freedom appear to show it This time I did a lot of work on it and added some decals The large wings on the back provided the most challenge as sometimes it was difficult to tell between the black parts and the shading effect I figured the railguns were too much trouble so I left them mostly unpainted as I had been working on this one on-and-off for the past week more so than the Zaku II and every time I came back the whole image became more pixelated including my colors which made it even harder to find the right colors to work with I still think it came out okay but it's nowhere near as good as what I've been doing and I know I could have done better Color scheme based on the Nu Gundam's colors from Char's Counterattack Original lineart by Kunio Okawara New colors by zgmfx56simpulse

there is lacquer thinner in both guns and i had cleaned the insides very good last time i sprayed its ujst the outside that i never clean i wanted to have the outsides sand blasted this week

I grow up and born in sydney my parents are from south america Argentina and soon started to learn spanish language from the parents My passions are martial arts and done it for 2 years then given up due to studies tennis played competion against other suburbs around Sydney Finished high school year 1996 and enjoyed making things with timber keen in getting a job in that field It was hard finding work until one day my agency in finding work found a course for me in pre apprenticeship in different trades cabinet making upohstery french polishing Completed a year After I was job hunting again applied a goverment postion at the power house museum they called me and got an interview was excited during the meeting informed me I have a job Started working immedetly and enrolled into college (Tafe)course in Shopfitting and detailed Joinery trade My boss at the time paid everything tools uniform ect Four year apprenticeship contract finished 2001 and had to leave with no choice and unemployed A few weeks later was working for a popular kitchen company that was advertise on Tv I soon relised was not getting paid for what I was worthJoined with many different agencys regarding work and decieded to take a course of security in 2002 after one week got the licence and started work in pubs and clubsI was earning more income in security industry then as a shopfitter and detailed joinery trade of carpentry A friend of mine called me one night and she said How would you like to earn extra income with out working for someone else and didnt explian in detail I was skeptical at the time I rushed over to her place and seen the presenter with nice car and alot of diamonds on this women from network marketing company couldnt believe it She explained it was network marketing and can make huge amount of money in no time Believing her I signed up straight away with no questions and after three months of talking to strangers family friends they all had said NO Thanks then I quite My friend quite also then was back to square one day was wondering around city found a flyer was to good to be true information Then called the number and left a message day after a guy called he explained about the business and came to my house and left information pack with audio had taken information given to me and a lawyer reviewed and said there was nothing wrong with the company its debt free very good advise join while you can this is the best opportunity go for success network marketing really works So I went along to the meeting with an open mind and (a stomach full of nerves) but what I saw Blew my MindI learnt about Robert Kiyosakis Cash Flow Quadrant and I loved the idea of being a business owner with a system that would give me Freedom and a Good Solid Passive income

Heh yeah I figured as muchthis kid doesnt look like the cute little kids you normaly find Shaseeko laughed staring at her target who kept his head down Yeahtheres one other thing In my vision I hadwhile you were chasing this kid down you bumped into a woman and because of this woman your identiy of being a demon was exposed Hale said firmly Shaseeko was about to speak when her eyes connected with a red hair woman passing by Shaseeko felt something very powerful burning inside her but didnt know what it was To cease the feeling Shaseeko quickle looked away That wont happen she mumbled softly Oh yeah what makes you so sure about thatwhen have my visions been wrong He growled angerly obviously to hint he didnt like being wrong Im just to good to let people know who I am Even if you had such a vision Shaseeko smirked with confidence which was absolutly pointless since only she could tell Care to make a bet thenif im right your buying dinner and if your right He was cut off by Shaseeko's yelp If im right which I will be you'll have to obey me for a week and call me master Shaseeko she jumpped off the bench with pride YeahsureHale muttered on the other line Hehe no if you excuse me I have myself a demon to beat shaseeko quickly hung up the phone and grabed a gun that was burried in her vest that lay nect to where she was sleeping Bounty hunter taking you in demon Shaseeko screamed pointing the gun at the kid He looked up at her with one red eye glaring at her and swiftly ran off Hey running makes it harder for me to catch you she pouted grabbing her vest and tie and running after the kid With a glance back at the bounty hunter chasing him he ran down the path to the abandoned construction site Shaseeko smirked good go somewhere no one is around that way I czn use my demonic powers on you

I showed Princess the cat loft nMy step-dad built it so his cat could have an area to get away from the dog nPrincess and I have a remarkable relationship When she was a kitten she was the second litter in a row I had yet to find that work We had a few cats that the second litter would die The mother stopped producing milk Well it was the same for this beautiful little girl of mine However my Mom called me at night and I had some extra money and got kitten replacer formula My Mom read on the box of flea killer (we had fleas something aweful) and it said kittens could get flea anemia Well I had ONE iron pill left from when I was in Nevada that I took once a month I crushed it up and added it to the entire container of kitten formula I did notice that Princess's tongue nose and feet were awefully white looking The second feeding her nose pinked up temporarily The fifth it looked pink in two hours time (I fed her every two hours like clockwork unless I was sleeping One good thing that came out of not having a job at the time Ever try to get a kitten to realize that just because the milk isn't flowing anymore that they're not done eating Well Princess was small enough that she was as tall as my hand from her neck to her rear So when she thought it was done she only wiggled a tiny bit so I didn't have to reposition her I shot the milk at her tooth she lapped it up I went slowly so as not to get it into her lungs she ate like she had been eating with a bulb syringe her whole week of life Now it's easy to get her to take liquid medicine without spit back because she learned whatever she gets put into her mouth to swallow I fed her for two weeks I think it was Then her mother had gotten her milk back I think Princess knew she was going to die the rest of her 5 brothers and sisters had She is a cat in general pay attention when she wants to but if I go to my room she's right there with me and rubs against me to pet her

I will only go briefly into breeding Most people will not breed a female chinchilla until she is 8 month old because a female younger those 8month really isn't mature enough to be breed However female chins can breed from about 8 month of age so it's important to separate her from any males present ( including her father and brother ) until she is old enoughnn Female cycle occurs every 28 to 35 day and usually lasts 4 to 7 days This is when a female cant gwt pregnant A chin gestation period is usually 111 day so it actually will take quite a while for her to have babies And they usually only have 1-3 babies but there is a possibility of more They will usually only have babies once or twice a yearnn Once she does have babies you should remove the male so they she goes not get bred again immediately She will come into heat again almost immediately after giving birth If you allow this happen it's very hard on the female because her body has not had time to heal Death and Miscarriage could also resuitnn Unlike other small baby animlas chinchilla are up and walking around within minutes They are born with their eyes open and with fur They are about the side of a hamster when born So if you know your chinchilla is pergnant you must have a cage with very small wire Mine is one centimeter width and height to ensure that they stays in their cage The only other option is buy another cagenn The male will not hurt the babies like most other species of animlas so it's okay to put the father back after a few day to a week He can then keeps Mom company and relieve some of her stressnn The mother will not really need you help in raising the babies but you can touch them and handle them This gets them used to being handled very young You may want to get a good scale and weigh the babies everyday to make sure that they are gaining weight and getting the proper amount of mik from mom

The weather has been so cold here lately and it is going to drop into the single digits and to the minus figures I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOUR WEATHER ON THE TUBE Is this a solo trip YES MY BROTHER-IN-LAW WANTED TO FLY OUT FROM MAINE BUT I NIXED THAT HE IS SUCH A PANSY HE WOULD BE NO HELP AT ALL AND HAVE TO GO PEE EVERY 30 MINUTES ONE OF MY FRIENDS HERE OFFERED TO GO BUT THEN I FEEL I WOULD HAVE TO ACCOMODATE HIM WITH WHERE DO YOU WANT TO EAT OR STAY ALSO HE IS A PRACTICALLY NON-STOP BEER DRINKER PLUS I FEEL THAT I SHOULD BUY HIS TICKET BACKI guess you are going to be taking quite a bit of stuff with you MOSTLY MY TOOLS AND MATERIALS AND WHAT EVER WE DON'T NEED IN THE HOUSE HERE IN CA I would take the most southern route(I-20) longer but safer DOWN TO LA GET ON THE 10 EAST TO EL PASO GET ON THE 20 TO ATLANTAIf you make a stop in Sweetwater I WILL Have a cocktail for me MAKE MY DAY TELL ME YOU GAVE A ROAD TRIP 5 SECONDS THOUGHT I'LL DO SOMETHING MAYBE GET MYSELF ARRESTED FOR BEING AN UNUSUALLY SUSPICIOUS CHARACTER I stayed for a couple of days Because I had such a hangover to much drinking drank to much from rejection LOL (DID YOU REALLY NOW I FEEL SUPER BAD) WE ALL HAVE OUR REGRETS DON'T WE Again have a good trip drive safe I will be checking my computer at least once a week Hope it is warmer in Georgia when you arrive AS DO I GIRL I SPOKE WITH ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS TODAY HE SAID IT SHOULD BE AROUND 15 DEGREES IN GEORGIA TONIGHT FAT HIPPY GIRL WEATHER FOR SURE I'LL HAVE TO FIND A WAFFLE HOUSE WAITRESS NAMED DEBBI I GUESS Enjoy your Irish ditties on your road trip
