Now here's a tricky one in the variation arena the 138 Famous Slugger Babe Ruth Special Some self-proclaimed experts will tell you there is no green tint version of this card But there is The card on the left is the correctednormal version of the card the card on the right is the green tint version Here's the difference First the clarity in the card on the left is far superior to the card on the right first hint that the card on the right is a green tint Now look at the difference in grass color the left card has a more greenish color the card on the right more grayish Now look at the bat the bat in the card on the right is more fattish than the card on the left But here's the real tell-tale Some of the green tint cards are cropped differently I'll show you another one later on but for now look at these two real close For one look how close the umpire's right elbow is to the border on the card on the right then look at the space between the elbow and the border on the left card Now look at Babe's feet in comparison to the Famous Slugger Banner The card on the left you can see his left heel where the right card has his heel cropped off as well as almost all of his right shoe So basically the banner is raised on the green tint card cropping his feet and cropped to the left I've seen this time and again so it must be true

retired lawyers and judges sit elbow-to-elbow with owners of scrap metal yards and vintage clothing boutiques They hold forth on philosophy the weather they rib each other and joke about saving room for cannoli As they reach for seconds they reveal skull-cracking rings emblazoned with a compass and a square Meet the millennial Masons As secret societies go it is one of the oldest and most famous Its enrollment roster includes Louis Armstrong and Gerald Ford and it has been depicted in movies such as The Da Vinci Code and National Treasure Once more than 4 million strong (back in the 1950s) it has been in something of a popularity free-fall ever since Viewed with suspicion as a bastion of antiquated values and forced camaraderie the Masons have seen membership rolls plummet more than 60 to just 15 million in 2006 Only now the trend seems to be reversing itself and nowhere more noticeably than in Southern California The reasons seem clear In another Masonic Hall this one on La Cienega a Sri Lankan-born banker a sunglasses-wearing Russian immigrant and a continent-hopping Frenchman break bread poke at their salads and chat about their health For a time it looked as if Masonry was going into a sharp decline if not the death throes said UCLA history professor Margaret C Jacob who has written extensively about the fraternal order But it looks like it may be making a comeback looks and blinding white smile can be found on Japanese TV where he plays sidekick and comic foil to the Japanese version of the Hilton sisters They are also all men who want to be part of an all-for-one and one-for-all brotherhood built on shared ideals philosophical pursuits and a penchant for rings aprons and funny hats As Zulu bluntly put it: I joined because I was looking for people to hang with that were like-minded but also hip and cool and a lot of tattoo artists tend to be drunks and druggies Hillin who originally joined the Masons in Temecula moved to LA and is interested in the Santa Monica-Palisades Lodge No 307 one of the youngest and most diverse congregations in the state (the average age of active brothers is just 33) The lodge's senior deacon Jim Warren calls it 'Star Trek' without the chicks We have every possible national origin ethnicity and religious denomination you could imagine he said Warren credits the Internet We were one the first lodges in the at the door of Elysian Lodge No 418 last month Intrigued by the distinctive Masonic architecture that graces most halls the 31-year-old publicist with sideburns to his chin and hair to his shoulders and a Renaissance lute player tattoo on his right forearm hit the Web What he read about the Masonic ideals -- wisdom strength beauty and the pursuit of knowledge -- made him decide to pursue membership My generation wants to be part of something beyond itself Royal said I want to learn I want to participate The Web generation THE INTERNET hasn't only made it easier to learn about the Freemasons Casalou says it's changed the type of men coming forward There is so much information on the Internet that by the time someone comes to a lodge to seek membership they already know a lot I choose to do a picture of Mowgli and Baloo for a fathers day picture cause it represents what fathers day is all about A strong relationship between a child and there dad or in this causethere papa bear n nBaloo is such a strong father figure as he's warm friendly and always there to comfort others and Mowgli's is a good example of a son who is lost in this world and needs support to get him through it n nI got the idea for this pic from a picture of Mowgli Baloo on King Louies throne and I used it as a model for this It was in a 2002 movie magazine talking about the top 50 duos in movies Mowgli had a banana on his head but his hair looked so good in this picture I decided to leave it out n nMowgli's face was a challenge as I'm not used to drawing cartoon humans but thanks to the Jungle Book 2 DVD I got his face right It was the scne where Mowgli tried to sneak out of his house without his mother seeing him I always thought his face in the original Jungle Book looked gammy so I used his improved form in the sequel n nBaloo I modelled after the original as Baloo looks more grown up in the 1st film than he did in the 2nd Also Phil Harris is better suited to Baloo than John Godman n nI worked since January 2010 to make this and I hope it's to your liking Happy Fathers day from here and to the rest of your lives You better believe it

I never saw Titanic up untill about a month ago What an amazing film Weirdly enough I didn't cry probably because I refused to XD But anyway I loved the movie and I needed to make something since I was bored after studying for my exams so I came across these beautiful pictures of the movie and thought I needed to do something with it It didn't work out so I tried again with only 2 pictures of Rose and Jack and here we are now I love it I don't say that very often about my own work but this one is probably one of my fav's Hope you enjoy this aswell

Born on October 13 1925 in what was then rural Bellmore Long Island there really wasn't much in Leonard Alfred Schneider's background that might have made one foresee the the acid-tongued hipster who would shake the American night of the fifties and sixties as forcibly as he did with his brilliant and biting satire He first burst upon the national consciousness in the spring of 1959 with two riotous appearances on the Steve Allen Show There had never been a comedian like him before: He was handsome smart and as hip as they come A real finger snapping urban bon vivant A combination sage rabbi and verbal kamikaze Lenny Bruce was the real thing The facets of his psychological make up including his all-too-obvious personal vulnerabilities were there for all the world to behold bravely exhibited on the nightclub stage That he was a troubled tormented soul there can be no doubt Unhappiness and insecurity dogged him his entire life Close friends would remember him as a basically sad and lonely man But damn When he walked on stage he was funny Jim Screamingly funnyIn the placid 1950s era of Eisenhower I Love Lucy and hoola-hoops the American establishment (to no one's surprise) wasn't ready for the kind of honesty that Lenny was presenting to the public Walter Winchell branded him America's Number One Vomic In late 1958 Time Magazine would crown him the sickest of the sick comedians Rather than dismiss this affront outright Lenny in typical Lenny fashion embraced it The cover photo for his first album The Sick Humor of Lenny Bruce portrayed him having a picnic in a cemetery How's that for moxie That same LP included a classic bit called Religions Incorporated which depicted a fast talking Hollywood booking agent talking on the phone to his client the newly ordained Pope John XXIII: HELLO JOHNNY WHAT'S SHAKIN' BABY Yeah the puff of white smoke knocked me out I got'cha booked for the Sullivan Show on the nineteenth Oh did ya dig Spellman on 'Stars Of Jazz' OK sweetie Yeah right You cool it too Nah nobody know's you're JewishWhile that type of humor might be considered tame by the anything goes standards of 2006 in 1958 it was positively revolutionaryFor three golden years he was cooking appearing as a headliner in the top clubs across the nation When he opened at Mister Kelly's in Chicago crowds were lining up around the block to see him According to his biographer Albert Goldman word had reached the windy city that this new young comic was sensational On February 3 1961 he actually did a gig at Carnegie Hall Carnegie Hall Even he couldn't believe it: Maybe the people who own this place don't even know we're here He speculated that the entire audience had been admitted into the hall by a good and corrupt janitor: 'Alright just don't make no noise and clean up after you're finished alright' Alright That night the Island of Manhattan was blanketed by one of the worst blizzards in its history All bridges and tunnels leading into and out of the city were shut down Every street in town was closed to traffic - and yet somehow Lenny was able to pack his people into a concert that didn't begin until after midnight It was a Standing Room Only performance that the old gang at Lindy's still talk about Fortunately the entire evening was preserved on tape and is available today on CD Lenny Bruce At Carnegie Hall is the greatest performance of his all-too-brief careerSeven months after Carnegie Hall in the autumn of 1961 the arrests started On September 29th Lenny was arrested in his Philadelphia hotel room for possession of drugs for which he had a prescription Five days later on October 4th he was busted at the Jazz Workshop in San Fransisco for obscenity Although he was eventually acquitted on both counts the pattern had begun The persecution would continue for the rest of his lifeDuring the next three years he would be busted nineteen times on various obscenity and narcotics charges Law enforcement agencies across the country pursued him with a relentlessness normally reserved for rapists and mass murderers It got to the point where he was spending more time (and money) in court defending himself than he was onstage exhibiting his genius as a performer before an audience of appreciative fans By the late winter of 1964 his dependence on drugs particularly heroin was starting to take a noticeable toll on his appearance and his health In addition to that he gained too much weight as a result of poor eating habits In short he was falling apart In an effort to save his career he became obsessed with the intricacies of the American Legal system As his act started to transform itself from a surreal verbal roller coaster ride into a comically inspired lecture on the law he began to alienate his audienceI'm sorry if I wasn't very funny tonight I'm not a comedian I'm Lenny BruceBecause a conviction would have resulted in a nightclub owner losing his liquor license offers for work eventually dwindled down to nothing His home became subject to numerous late night raids by the LA vice squad One officer expecting to find him engaged in drug use instead found him calmly listening to a record of John Phillip Sousa marches which curiously in addition to jazz he had a passion forThen came the arrest which would destroy him On April 4 1964 he was busted at the Cafe Au Go-Go in New York City for giving a lewd and indecent performance What had bugged the NY District Attorney Frank Hogan was Lenny's description of Jackie Kennedy during the assassination of the late president Life Magazine had described the former first lady hurling herself onto the trunk of the presidential limousine by saying that she was courageously trying to help the secret serviceman aboard Bullshit said Lenny Bruce She was trying to haul ass to save her assThe ensuing trial would end in his ruin as a man and as an artist In 1960 his yearly income had been over 350000 per year By October of 1965 it had fallen to under 4000 Shortly thereafter he was found guilty of obscenity in a New York court of law and sentenced to four months in jail In the summer of 1965 his act was filmed at the Basin Street West in San Francisco Viewing the film today it is disturbingly obvious that Lenny Bruce while still hysterically funny is a broken dying manOn the morning of August 3 1966 while his New York conviction was still under appeal he received in the mail a foreclosure notice on his house from the Bank of America Later that evening he was found dead in his upstairs bathroom a hypodermic needle still embedded in his arm For the next several hours the Los Angeles Police against the anguished protests of his friends and his mother allowed photographers from newspapers and television to step up take photos and film of his naked bloated body lying lifeless on the cold tile floor He was forty years oldOn December 23 2003 he became the first person in the history of the state of New York to have his conviction overturned posthumously Better late than never I suppose And yet I'm convinced that Lenny who was armed to the teeth with a state-of-the-art bullshit detector would not have failed to see the very sick irony in thatWhat direction might Lenny Bruce have taken had he been able to save himself Sadly we'll never know Of this we can be sure: He'd have an awful lot to say about the America of the early twenty-first century It makes me laugh just contemplating what his take on the obscene condition of modern day Washington DC might be Can you imagine

For all my Music Production lovers this here is another popular toy from my Computer based Recording Studio and Production Suite by Sony and of course it is Sound Forge Pro 10 I like every thing about this unit but two things and that is the skin of the Time Clock that you see with all those zeros and the User Interface of the unit it self I personally think Sony could have done a much better job in these areas and done more of a black theme or something However besides looks Sound Forge Pro 10 get the job done when it come time to do the Editing and all on your Projects in the Studio This unit has a wealth of tools as you can see what I done to my version of this unit which was add more of the tools into the Interface so I'll spend less time opening menus The sound quality of this unit is superb I'm currently using this on a Remastering of It's All About YOU as you can see that I have it open inside the unit As you can also tell in the bottom right hand of the unit I like working in 24 Bit style Projects more so than 16 Bit for better sound quality Thanks for checking out my post One last thing I forgot to mention here is I like the fact that I am able to publish the Tracks I worked on through this unit as well and this is very important to me when it comes to Copy Rights because not only will I have my Copy Right Papers on hand but the release info and all will be in the properties of the Projects I publish including the very important publish date and some how I forgot to throw this information in there Again it has a wealth of tools even down to burning Compact Discs This is from Sony so there is no doubt about it It's top grade quality

So this is when Taka fights which is extremely rare He fights to end a battle as quickly as possible using over whelming strength Physically he is extremely powerful and often fights hand to hand His pain tolerence is extremely high also simply a lucky perk of being Taka XDBut here he is about to use a summoning a water snake Since his chakra element is water He can use it anywhere but if he is not near water afterwards he can suffer quite badly The snake does not appear completely but instead a shimmer about him It is a snake in a glass bottle (If you have played Okami you'll know that it resembles Nuregami Which is where I got the idea fromw She's so sweet - )

Beedingwood House taken mid to late 90s showing the glazed front section pre-collapse and also the small round room circling the larger round room still in tact The driveway and greenery are also much less overgrown The house and estate was built for Thomas Anthony Denny and his wife Mary Jane Noel in 1876 in the St Leonard's Forest area in West Sussex Denny was an Irish businessman and in his own words he was a pork philanthropist A great loss befell him the following year after moving into Beedingwood with the death of his wife Mary in 1877 He resided quietly at Beedingwood and often donated large sums of money to charitable organisiations most notably paying the Salvation Army's first year of rent at their London headquarters in 1881 T A Denny stayed in the house until 189394 when he married the evangelist Elizabeth Hope and subsequentally moved away In 1894 the house's well-known owner the Reverend EDL Harvey stepped down from his job as Rector at Downham Market in Norfolk and moved his family to Beedingwood The Reverend Edward Douglas Lennox Harvey MA OBE Justice of the Peace Deputy Lieutenant for Sussex Chairman of Sussex County Cricket Club and Vice Chairman of West Sussex County Council (of the wealthy Harvey's Bristol Cream family) was a very successful man locally However he sadly incurred much tragedy in his life with the loss of his wife 1 daughter and 3 sons He remarried in 1911 and was the longest and kindest resident of Beedingwood residing here for 44 years until his death in 1938 at the age of 80 Soon after the family sold the estate probably due to the death tax During the Harvey family years the gardens were featured in several publications of The Gardener a long running gardening magazine From the point of the Reverend's death things started to go downhill for the estate During the Second World War the house was used as temporary accomadation for various civilians including evacuated children from London It is well documented that in 1943 the Roffey Park Institute acquired the neighbouring Roffey Park estate along with the Beedingwood estate in 1946 and adapted the house to serve as auxilary accomadation and dining floorspace for the Institute They added central heating and electricity to the house aswell as the undignified 1950s kitchen block extension tucked behind and around the circular room on the north-east corner of the house Mnay of the large victorian rooms were also divided up with cheap partition walls and many fireplaces were removed or boarded over In the early 60s the Institute became a publically owned company and by the early 70s dropped the rehabilitation side of the business building new premises tacked onto the already converted Beedingwood stables The local Health Authority took over the Roffey Park House Hospital and Beedingwood In 1973 the house became exclusively the staff housing for the Roffey Park Hospital In 1981 the Roffey Park Hospital was closed down interestingly it was the first mental hospital in England to close due to the Care in the Community act of 1980 By the early 80s Beedingwood was becoming very expensive to maintain and along with the now obselete Roffey Park Hospital the Health Authority sold both the high maintenance estates in 1983 Beedingwood was used briefly as a nursing home for the elderly in the mid 80s and planning permission was submitted for this change of use in 1987 however nothing much came of this Both of the Estates were sold to a property development company around this time Conversion of Beedingwood into 10 luxery apartments was scheduled for 1990 The developers tried to get Beedingwood and Roffey Park House listed in order to gain permission to erect a limited number of new dwellings in the grounds of both properties to compensate for the expensive renovation costs The latter was successful however it was decided Beedingwood wasn't worthy of listing status due to too many original features having been removed This decision was appealed but English Heritage upheld the decision once again due to too many of the house's original features being removed or stolen The house's tourelle originally had a spire on top of it however by 1955 this had been removed for unknown reasons The house also had beautiful carved decorative barge boards these had also been removed before 1955 Sadly site security was centered around the slightly larger Roffey Park House earmarked to be turned into a major hotel and Beedingwood began to suffer from leaking roofs neglect and thieves drawn to the valuable victorian woodwork slate and fittings Due to the property market of the early 90s the developers changed their plans for Beedingwood from 10 to 24 apartments and a maisonette This plan required a large extension to be extended from the rear of the property and the council considered this too large A plan was then submitted for 19 apartments a small new extension being built where the 1950s extension already was and 7 luxery houses replacing original dwellings along the existing driveway The council didn't object to this application however legal technicalities required a further application to be submiitted to them and the developer stalled During this time Beedingwood was becoming an open-house and a rave was held one weekend in the empty house and much of the interior including nearly every pane of glass in the house was damaged or broken The council complained about the lack of security to the developers and they watertighted and boarded the house temporarily In the early 90s the company put the Beedingwood Estate up for auction and it was sold to another property developer He sold off most of the land to a housing developer keeping Beedingwood and they used the existing planning permission to build the 7 houses sadly demolishing the coach house in the process The conversion of the house never took place the new owner apparantly wasn't interested in restoring the building and was only interested in the land it was built on He gutted the house's interior removing the panelled ceilings wooden panelling plaster mouldings bannisters doors bathroom fittings fireplaces and even the floorboards The stained glass skylight was probably removed at this time too Apart from the staircases joists and the carved screen in the greeting's parlour (installed too firmly to remove in one piece) the house was now internally a shell The doors and windows were breezeblocked up and the house was left From this point onwards Beedingwood went downhill fast the thieves and vandals once again gained access and the missing slate and leaking roofs also helped to weaken the houses structure By 2000 the house was beyond reasonable repair the joists now rotten and non-existant in the west side of the house and the new owners submitted an application to demolish the unlisted house and erect an apartment block on the footprint of the existing house this application was approved and for the next 7 years Beedingwood was left to rot and decay further into a sad yet dignified state The rotten timber front glazed section above the port cochere and front door collapsed in the early 2000's leaving a gaping hole in the front of the house and on April 28th 2007 the house was found burning By the time the fire was out the authorities declared the building dangerous and it was demolished the same day Even in its decayed and neglected state it was easy to see what a masterpiece this house really was Credit should also be given to the victorian craftsmen who built the house even after all the years of wet and neglect the structure was still holding up firm indeed even after the fire it is said that apart from the damaged areas the building was still firm No modern building would stand up to so much neglect Beedingwood will be sadly missed by many RIP Beedingwood 1876 - 2007 In August 2008 planning permission was granted for 3 large houses and triple garages to be built on the
