Ms Drama the Drama Queen of All MediaMs Drama is the host of PNC Drama TV which airs in New York City as well as the onair personality of PNC Drama Radio pncradiocom Street Buzz Radio esp51com and Everywhere Radio Sirius 40 HipHop Nation She is known as the Drama Queen of Radio due to her often edgy interviews where she puts up and coming and established artists in the hot seat asking them thought provoking questions about their lives careers personal drama rumors and entertainment news and gossip Born on Long Island New York Ms Drama spent most of her life growing up in Northern Virginia She is often described as a southern girl who is in a New York state of mind Ms Drama began her media career at Spelman College where she began her first stint as a reporter She interned as a sports reporter for the local news station in Atlanta WABCTV where she honed her skills of writing and reporting for broadcast television Although she helped to cover local news with the veteran reporters at the station the majority of her hands on experience consisted of interviewing entertainers sports figures and athletes at special events and even in the locker rooms after the game After graduating Spelman Ms Drama continued her pursuits in journalism by moving to New York where she continued her education at New York University During that time Ms Drama immersed herself within the New York media scene and entertainment industry She served as the resident journalist on MTVUs show The Freshman interned at MTVU VH1 and other Viacom Networks and wrote reviews as part of the Review Crew for Newsday While growing as a journalist and as a reporter Ms Dramas personality and talent for talk became recognized in the industry She soon took the advice of her mentors and peers and pursued her untapped passion of radio Although there was much struggle within the next few years to pursue her dreams Ms Drama started in the ranks as a promotions assistant at Hot 97 where she received her first real opportunity in Radio During her time in promotions Ms Drama learned the ins and outs of radio and was later given the opportunity to train and produce shows on all three New York Emmis Communications stations Hot 97 KissFM and CD1019 She operated boards for live shows filled in during overnights when needed and was plugged in various production and onair segments during the course of her 3 years at Emmis In her second year at Hot 97 Ms Drama was offered the onair position for an internet radio show in Brooklyn NY She served as the afternoon drive personality reporting entertainment news and gossip and hosting a daily Monday through Friday twohour talk show In addition to her news segments Ms Drama started to gain recognition for her edgy interviews and subsequently started to be called the Drama Queen by independent and established artists A year later the name soon evolved into Ms Drama For the last two years Ms Drama has been staking her claim in the industry as the Drama Queen of Radio and more recently as the Drama Queen of All Media With the addition of her TV show PNC Drama TV and her two additional radio shows Street Buzz Radio wwwesp51com and Everywhere Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio Ms Drama has gained notoriety and has often been referred to as the next up and comer on radio She has been compared to the likes of Wendy Williams for her edginess and even as the next Angie Martinez for her thorough yet thoughtful interviews with artists She can often be heard saying My goal was never to become famous but to do what I love to do and get my message across I would hope thats what all real journalists would want
