to his parent's reliefnAll this changed a couple of weeks after Ryan's 10th birthday In the middle of the night he was pulled from his bed by a masked figure bound and gagged and dragged downstairs There he saw the bodies of his already murdered parents The killer was his brother who stabbed his partner before turning the knife on his kid brother His brother attempted to cut Ryan's throat but fortunately the cut was not deep enough to be immediately fatal However he passed out from the shock as Mark dragged the bodies upstairs and arranged them in a ritual circle Following directions he had found in an old book Mark had slain his family and best friend in an attempt to gain some sort of demonic power The culmination of the ritual was the burning of the bodies Mark doused the bodies in petrol and soaked the floor with it He started a fire and fled into the night sure that he had completed the ritual Ryan however was still alive and the sound smoke and heat of the fire woke him Struggling with his bonds and injury the boy almost didn't make it out of the house before the fire consumed it along with the bodies of his parentsnHe spent over month in hospital after the fire The burns healed but the wound to his neck left a vicious scar Ryan tried to convince anyone who would listen that his brother was still alive that the teenage body they had found had in fact been in his partner No one would listen to him They assumed that his claims were merely the product of a traumatised child's mind Eventually he stopped trying to tell peoplenHaving no living relatives Ryan was taken into care soon after leaving hospital and moved out of the Truro area Over the next four years Ryan was bounced between numerous foster families and children's homes across Cornwall He rarely stayed with one more than a few months foster parents finding the distant boy too much of a handful This mobility was a ploy by Ryan to prevent his brother ever tracking him down He knew that if Mark the dress that Sarah got to wear to Paul's house this past Christmas 2008 but she fell asleep on the floor before we got to eat and even before we got to get any pictures of her We really didn't have any presents and no one else had a tree so it wasn't that festive for a kid's world so I just didn't get a chance to take any pictures then Even though we had school picture day I wanted to get some pictures of Sarah in her cute dresses being that we never go anywhere that we can wear them and she's outgrown her shoes that go with them and for some reason her stockings that went with them and fit have all just disappeared I have been taking what I can and will have to do some photo-editing of the originals and use a super-imposed back-ground being that I don't have a nice background and you see the condition of our walls with the old flat paint that the apartment was originally painted with when we got here Next time I hope they use semi-gloss due to the resiliency and hopefully it won't get so dirty and hard to clean I tried to get a few pictures over the weekend as I could when Sarah would either pose or stay still I had a ton of things to do and as I got them done things stacked up that I am writing The Faerie's Child She is a half-human half-faerie princess Her mother Malka was Queen of the Faeries Miriam lived in the human world not knowing that she was anything but human until the age of twelve (she thought her mother had died when she was one year old but in fact she had merely gone back to Karka Kasum the faerie world to rule it) When Miriam was twelve her mother Queen Malka died (for real) and because of magic that she had set upon Miriam when she was a baby Miriam was immediately transported to Karka Kasum where she began to find out about herself and her mother At the beginning of the story Miriam is basically a sweet kid but can be selfish irresponsible thoughtless and careless She is also rather vain and spoiled because having lived in the human world she was always more beautiful charismatic and graceful than anyone else around her (anyone else in the world in fact) Also although her powers didn't work well on Earth she had some slight abilities and could usually charm humans into doing whatever she wanted (this didn't work on her father Thomas Laureline however) By the end of the story Miriam has learned that monotonous and unglamourous work can be necessary as well as giving to others and has grown into a truly strong courageous selfless sensitive girl with true self-confidence and a strong sense of self-worth without needing to be stuck-up She is also a lot less spoiled and less innocent too and has gained the necessary maturity and other qualities necessary to rule a country Miriam has straight shiny black hair down to her waist creamy skin a high forehead a narrow aristocratic nose sapphire-blue eyes and shell-pink lips Like all faeries she is far more beautiful than any human (she's beautiful by faerie standards too) unusually short (42 at age twelve and she never grows over 50 which is usual for faeries) slim and light (faerie bones are hollow inside like a bird's which enables them to fly) However she doesn't appear short because of her natural grace and bearing When she is in Karka Kasum (but not on Earth) she has sapphire-blue wings like giant butterfly wings and her skin glows as if hit by direct sunlight (no matter where she is) Miriam also can fly and do magic (all faeries have wings and can fly but only the nobility can do magic) Her magic is characterized by sapphire-blue light or sapphire-blue fire which she can do various things with (hit people set things on fire kill people make a shield out of it grab things with it make a hole in something) Like that of all faeries her magic doesn't work if she is touching iron or even enclosed in it Miriam is the most powerful faerie in Karka Kasum The crystal she is wearing around her neck is a star-stone a piece of a fallen star (in Karka Kasum stars are made of a diamond-like stone that glows as if it has a flame inside) All faerie nobility wear star-stone pendants because star-stone allows them to more easily focus and control their power The diamond-shaped star-stone pendant is sapphire-blue because it has obsorbed her magic but the links of the chain are also made of star-stone (in its regular diamond-light color) A faerie noble's magic wings and eyes are always the same color and like most Miriam has adopted that color (sapphire-blue) as her signature color meaning that all of her dresses and belongings her was twelve her mother Queen Malka died (for real) and because of magic that she had set upon Miriam when she was a baby Miriam was immediately transported to Karka Kasum where she began to find out about herself and her mother At the beginning of the story Miriam is basically a sweet kid but can be selfish irresponsible thoughtless and careless She is also rather vain and spoiled because having lived in the human world she was always more beautiful charismatic and graceful than anyone else around her (anyone else in the world in fact) Also although her powers didn't work well on Earth she had some slight abilities and could usually charm humans into doing whatever she wanted (this didn't work on her father Thomas Laureline however) By the end of the story Miriam has learned that monotonous and unglamourous work can be necessary as well as giving to others and has grown into a truly strong courageous selfless sensitive girl with true self-confidence and a strong sense of self-worth without needing to be stuck-up She is also a lot less spoiled and less innocent too and has gained the necessary maturity and other qualities necessary to rule a country Miriam has straight shiny black hair down to her waist creamy skin a high forehead a narrow aristocratic nose sapphire-blue eyes and shell-pink lips Like all faeries she is far more beautiful than any human (she's beautiful by faerie standards too) unusually short (42 at age twelve and she never grows over 50 which is usual for faeries) slim and light (faerie bones are hollow inside like a bird's which enables them to fly) However she doesn't appear short because of her natural grace and bearing When she is in Karka Kasum (but not on Earth) she has sapphire-blue wings like giant butterfly wings and her skin glows as if hit by direct sunlight (no matter where she is) Miriam also can fly and do magic (all faeries have wings and can fly but only the nobility can do magic) Her magic is characterized by sapphire-blue light or sapphire-blue fire which she can do various things with (hit people set things on fire kill people make a shield out of it grab things with it make a hole in something) Like that of all faeries her magic doesn't work if she is touching iron or even enclosed in it Miriam is the most powerful faerie in Karka Kasum The crystal she is wearing around her neck is a star-stone a piece of a fallen star (in Karka Kasum stars are made of a diamond-like stone that glows as if it has a flame inside) All faerie nobility wear star-stone pendants because star-stone allows them to more easily focus and control their power The diamond-shaped star-stone pendant is sapphire-blue because it has obsorbed her magic but the links of the chain are also made of star-stone (in its regular diamond-light color) A faerie noble's magic wings and eyes are always the same color and like most Miriam has adopted that color (sapphire-blue) as her signature color meaning that all of her dresses and belongings her room etc are that color I am not very pleased with this drawing I think she looks older sexier and meaner than I meant her to and has an almost piggish look none of the
