I would like to enter my mom Nancy in the special person theme She had done so much for her children when my dad left she didn't ever give up she worked harder for us My mom is taking care of my grandma instead of putting her in a nursing home this is a lot of work on my mom and she still had a job at a Health and human Resources office With all of these things going on she hardly has time for a social life I also had my first child at the age of 18 She helped me and let me live with her until my husband got back from boot camp She has really done a lot for my sister and i we couldn't ask for a better mom It would mean the work to us to have her win something for helping out so many people Thank you Alissa

God wont forgive me for this I know so sever my skin and take this sadness and close my eyes call in the angels this razor blade was made for meThis kinda explains my history of cutting myself and attempted suicide Its not really a fact of being emo or whatever its just how I would deal with things Cutting yourself releases adrenaline endorphins into your body it makes you feel better Its a weird satisfaction looking down at you're bleeding wrists or ankles its like a cigarette it makes you feel better and relieves most of the stress But with cutting yourself it adds stress the risk of people seeing them or people reporting you to the school or whatever But you cant just stop cutting yourself its an addiction I'm still addicted to it today Yea I'm slowly breaking down and I'm far from ok But I'm not going to let the one person who caused all this get what they want which would be my life ended They're the one instead of being a good parent and get me help when they saw my bleeding wrists they told me to cut longer and deeper they just dont care and thats what kills me When I hear their voice and they're mad I start to shake out of pure fear I have been beaten so bad and cried so hard but they just dont care they feed off my pain I can't help but cry when everyday I come home just to be told I'm not wanted and that everyone else would be better off if I was dead starts to eat at you after awhile And when I am taking the blade to my wrist's I hope that I'll hit that vein just deep enough and it'll all be over with but I can't die because there are people who need me to live And if they find this I don't want it to scare them they said they wanted to get inside my head Well now they have just a taste of it and hopefully they've realized its a horrible place to be Its a cancer of the mind really I'm addicted to slicing my wrists I'm satisfied with the bleeding Its a sick and horrible thing I need help but no one will They just dont understand what its like to feel this way They say they want to be like me to understand me betterthing is I dont even want to be like me

Story by CARRIE STETLER Photos by SAED HINDASHHis little brothers had been in the basement with the dogs for about a month when Rahfeal Gordon was sent down there tooMost of the time their dad was easier on Rahfeal because he managed to stay out of troubleBut one day when Rahfeal pronounced RAHfeeal was 15 he had failed to come up with money for the electric bill His father beat him before shoving him downstairs with his three siblingsThe dogs in the basement weren't vicious but it was no place for anyone to live There was no heat so they used to stay warm by sleeping on the clothes dryerIt was one of the few times during his childhood that Rahfeal and his brothers had a home Their mom long struggling with crack addiction had recently left for goodFor years she and her four boys drifted in and out of homeless shelters in Newark There were days she never picked them up from school and they had to sleep on park benches Rahfeal's dad once abandoned him at a crack houseHis life is filled with stories like these But few people heard them when he was growing upOn music and a prayer Throughout his nightmarish childhood with three younger brothers to watch he acted like nothing was wrong He didn't let them see the small Bible he carried with him everywhereDespite hopping from school to school Gordon graduated from Arts High School in Newark finding solace in music and prayer He formed an event planning company called Infinite Productions and now he's a senior at Montclair State University with his own apartment in HillsidePeople thought that I was raised in a healthy family People didn't think I struggled says Gordon who recently turned 25 But now I want to let people know I want to be a poster child for those who were less fortunate I made it and so can you I knew I was better than where I was atAs a motivational speaker his message is simpleYour location isn't your destination says GordonIt's the motto of his performance Hip Hop Saved My LifeOn stage at local high schools colleges like Juilliard and venues like the Hard Rock Cafe Gordon shares his story which is filled with lines from hiphop lyricsOne of his favorites is Juicy by the Notorious BIGYou know very wellwho you aredon't let 'em hold you downreach for the starsHiphop gave him encouragement when no one else wouldYou don't have to live a thug life to be hiphop he tells audiences You can be yourself help others and still be hiphopLife choices His two youngest brothers Alfonso and Isaiah made a different choiceThey found a home on the streets dropping out of school by ninth grade Alfonso a drug dealer was murdered two years ago at 19 gunned down in Irvington Isaiah 19 was jailed on drug and weapons charges in OctoberAnother brother Janvier followed Rahfeal's footsteps and is about to graduate from Delaware State University with a degree in accountingLike Rahfeal he feels a heavy sense of guilt and responsibility for his brothers' fatesWe had to carry them especially Rahfeal because he was the oldest says Janvier who is 23 We understood more They just felt the pain What happened to Alfonso I know it hurts Rahfeal a whole lot but he hides it sometimes because he doesn't want me to know When he thinks I'm not looking he has so much pain in his faceUntil Gordon was about 8 years old life was goodHis parents were together They didn't do drugs The family lived in the Prince Street projects in Newark His dad had a job as a mechanic They were doing well enough to have Friday night dinners at Pizza Hut It's one of Rahfeal favorite childhood memoriesThey were getting byThen his father became heavily addicted to crack His mother's addiction soon followed She and her sons bounced among relatives and often ended up in sheltersWith no one to depend on but himself Gordon was determined to show his potential to anyone who would notice For him it was a survival instinctI definitely felt like I had to stand out Like 'Hey I'm here I'm really doing something' I had to stand out he says When you're raised the way I was you think 'I need to make people notice me'He hid the truth about his situationYou would never have known he had this horrible background says Tommy Jones a childhood friend from Newark who is now an accountant in Virginia I was one of the only ones that knew what was going on He just tried to blank it all out of his head and pretend that it didn't existWhen Gordon felt ashamed he would repeat a verse from the bibleThe first shall be last and the last shall be firstIt reminded him that in heaven things would be differentNo matter where he lived he tried to attend church At 13 he walked an hour every Sunday to Hopewell Baptist Church in NewarkI had one suit and that's what I'd wear says Gordon who now belongs to Calvary Baptist Church in Garfield

you come to terms with the fact that you will never be a size 5 or a perfect 10 Or a perfect human being for that matter and you stop trying to compete with the image inside your head or agonizing over how you compare And you take a long look at yourself in the mirror and you make a promise to give yourself the same unconditional love and support you give so freely to others Then a sense of confidence is born of selfapproval And you stop maneuvering through life merely as a consumer hungry for your next fix a new dress another pair of shoes or looks of approval and admiration from family friends or even strangers who pass by Then you discover that it is truly in giving that we receive and that the joy and abundance you seek grows out of the giving And you recognize the importance of hurtful or fail to uplift and edify you You stop working so hard at smoothing things over and setting your needs aside You learn that feelings of entitlement are perfectly OK and that it is your right to want or expect certain things And you learn the importance of communicating your needs with confidence and grace You learn that the only cross to bear is the one you choose to carry and that Rise hums to herself as she sticks her feet in the icy water of the river She doesn't even wince when she slips her leg in the ice cold water She sighs and looks up at the beautiful stars Atrayu he feels the slight ripple in the water and he opens his eyes to take a look at what caused it He sees a lone foot somewhat in the water He slowly reaches out and grabs it slightly then lets go waiting takes the hand closest the scar and puts it on her back over it He then slowly runs his hand over it ending at her stomach feeling the agony of a wound neer healed pouring out of it I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you earlier He sighs looking back up at her Rise She smiles It was a while ago Besides I'm fine now Just the emotional pain She grabs his hand and laces her fingers around his hand smiling at him Atrayu He is taken aback at first but then is clamed by her gental touch He hopes that she will never let go He leans in and kisses her on the cheek slowly then returns to look at her let her in Love Rise She smiled at him and walked in the house Wow She exclaimed and looked around It's huge Atrayu He smiles at her reaction and steps in behind her turning to shut the door quietly with both hands He then follows her and puts both arms around her waist and walks behind her Glad you like it Rise She smiled and looked around Where to start first She said thinking outloud then turned around and placed her hands around his neck Hmm the kitchen She said and smiled at him Atrayu Alrighty He turns and leads her to it opening one arm up to the ceiling in show Here it is He lowers it and glances at her sideways You hungry Rise She followed him looking around everywhere Giggling she nodded A little Atrayu What would you like Love He leans down ato her level waiting for her answer I will be glad to cook for you too Anytime Rise She thinks for a moment and frowns deep in thought What can you cook Atrayu He kisses her quickly then sticks his tongue at her like she did him He then stands up and slips his hand from her grasp as he walks tward the stove Anything And if I can't then I will try my best He glances at the burners af if it were a fire for a moment then back to her he smiles Rise She stuck her tongue out as well and slid onto a chair near the stove Surprise me She said and looked lovingly at him I like anything Atrayu He continues to look at her What do oyu fancy right now Somthing hot Sweet He waits for her answer and looks back down at the burner once again Mezmorized by it Rise Spicy She said looking at him and giggling She watched him for a moment then closed her eyes and yawned Atrayu He glances in her direction but almost looking through her in though His gaze snaps to her and he closes his eyes half way and smiles sheepishly I know what you would like He turns the burner on to heart up and goes to the pantry to pick the ingrediance Rise She smiled at him and closed her eyes humming to herself while he got the neccisary ingrediants Atrayu He searches the pantry for the herbs and spices Hee comes out with an armful and sets it out on the granite counter tops He then goes to the fridge and gets some scallops and milk He then takes out a pan begins to sear the scallops mixing in some spices and then taking a pot filling it with water he puts some other nuts and things in and puts it to boil adding a pinch of salt to it He then goes to the cupboards and takes a small bowl He mixes some corriander powred turmec powder crushed lemon grass stalks and an assortment of other things He pours some of the coconut milk in the mixture of powders and then sets it on a seprate burner and flames it to the 'ON' position He then flips the scallops and turns them while stirring the boiling water with the other herbs Rise She watched him in fasination wondering where he became such a good cook She crossed her arms on the table and laid her head on them atfer a while of watching him she fell asleep to the sent of the cooking and a smile across her face Atrayu He glances over at her a few minutes later and sees as she is sleeping He makes sure everythign is ok on the stove and goes over and picks her up softly He takes her over and sets her on the couch He puts a pillow under her head and covers her up He then goes back to the stove and inspects everything then turns the main burner with the scallops off Taking them and letting them cool He then stirs the slush of herb and takes them off along with the er He grabs a square bowl and pours the soup of herbs into the bottom He then takes the cooling scallops and puts them on top Covering them with the decorative boiled herbs He puts the dishes in the sink and searches for some chop sticks in the drawer Rise She moans in her sleep and turns over going completely under the covers Atrayu He smiles over in her direction hearing the commotion as she rolled into a more comfortable position He slowly walks over to her side with the boul of freshly cooked noodles and shallots He kneels down lightly beside her and pats her side gently Are you still up for my cooking He asks softly in her ear wwith a petite grin on his face Rise She moans and opens her eyes slightly Huh How did I get over here She says and sits up Oh of course She responds and looks up at him Thank you Atrayu He smile grows wider as she opens her beautiful eyes up at him I brought you over when you fell asleep I thought it would be more to your liking then the tabletop He runs a hand through her hair lightly handing the square bowl to her Hope you enjoy Tell me if you want anything else ok He continues to speak while raising to his full highth Rise Oh well thanks She said quietly and accepted the bowl It smells delicious She said and tased some And it tastes even better Atrayu He smiles at her taking likeness to his cooking I'm glad it is to your satisfaction He closes his eyes and smiles for a few moments then loks back down at her It's Called Laksa It's a thai food originating from south east asia He casually walks tward the kitchen to clean up the mess he made Rise She listens to him talk loving the sound of his voice She quickly finishes all of it and gets up to take the bowl back How did you learn it She asks while setting the bowl in the sink It was delicious I can't wait to have more of your cooking Atrayu He chuckles at her thoughtfulness Anytime Love He begins to wash the pots and pans stacking them to dry next to the sink I live alone so I found it as a passion and just started playing around and researching things He glances over at her with a smile Rise Ohhhh That's really cool She says and smiles at him watching him She can I explore She asks and starts walking away before he had said yes or no Atrayu He sees her curiosity and chuckles a deep throaty chuckle I would have said yes anyway Just don't go into the third bedroom on the right He calls after her The tone of his deep voice sounding as almost she should definatly explore that room theroughly

Sulu Andy He wanders around His head hung low and his bangs in his eyes He trudges slowly barly lifting his feet Ranewen she watches the man from her perch in a tree a few feet away from him she shifts her black dress tearing slightly on a branch and making a loud noise Sulu Andy He stops in his tracks Not looking up or moving his stance once stopped He speaks in a low deep voice Allo m'lady I was wondering when you'd show yourself Ranewen she swings down from the tree and stares at the young man Hello there Sulu Andy He glances over at her as she comes down to greet him He notices that her dress is abit ripped What brings someone as pretty as you to there parts Ranewen Andy She remains unphased by this comment and answers him quietly I am a runaway Sulu Andy He looks at her in surprise not showing it much Ah I see A runaway from where If you don't mind me asking Ranewen She answered him in a calm cool voice From Valandylland of the elves Sulu Andy He looks at her still His him one hand on her horses neck feeling his muscles rippling underneath her hand she quietly watched him out of the corner of her eye there was something peculiar and strange yet invigorating about this young man Sulu Andy He glanced at her a few times one of the times catching her eye and blushing unbarably at it He was a little nervous to be around somone like her He really enjoyed the time spent with her though He continued to walk blushing Ranewen She laughed and watched him silently not knowing why he seemed so nervous they arrived at the creek and she knelt down by the water looking at her reflection in it Sulu Andy He walked by her Down to the bank of the creek He was still blushing from when they locked gazes He kept thinking what it was like to be with her wishing he was Ranewen She too was beginning to blush her black ebony hair and green eyes showed it along with her black dress she stood up and looked at Sulu holding his gaze Sulu Andy He forces himsefl to speak His voice shaky Is there somthing wrong Ranewen She smiled and shook her head still looking at him How could she tell him She didnt know howshe turned back to the creek Sulu Andy He swallows hard and pushes himself to his feet He walks over to where she is sitting He trys to speak without stumbling Larien there is somthing I have to talk to you about He hesitates I was wondering if you Nevermind He ges to nervous and can't do it Ranewen She puts her hand on his arm and looks up at him no pleasetell me Sulu He puts a hand on her's and sighs deeply Do you really want to know Ranewen she nodded and waited for him to continue the feeling of his hand on hers making her feel warm inside Sulu He looks down at the ground blushing then back to her He speaks his voice shaky again Larien I was wondering if you wanted to be with me You know He blushes a brighter shade of red once he speaks Ranewen She smiled softly and nodded her head I'd love to she said looking at him Sulu His head raises high with pride and smiles huge Streching from ear to ear That's great Im glad you are He holds her tightly He pulls her into his chest and cuddles her like a baby Ranewen She smiled and hugged him back and kissed his cheek her black ebony hair whipping around his face from the storm blowing in Sulu He looks up at the clouds blowing in above them He looks back down to her in his arms The storm in blowing in quickly We should go now Larien She nodded and took his hand and walked to her horse petting it softly That we should Sulu He walks over to her horse and rubs its muzzle then turns to look at her Do you want ot ride Cause I move pretty fast Larien She nodded My legs hurt a bit so I'd prefer to she said as she swung up onto her horse Sulu He turns and bolts down the trail aways In short bolts He moves faster than the eye can see He stops about 200 feet up the trail and yells back to her C'mon now Not to far from here Larien She stared at him in slight disbelief at how fast he was running and cantered after him following him Sulu He moves in lenghts of about 200 feet Stopping ever so often to look back to make sure she is keeping up He moves faster than the horse it seems Larien She sped her white horse up going faster she caught up with him and moved alongside him out of the corner of her eye she watched his every move Sulu He watches her as she catches up to him He quickly leans into the right Veering off a side path He dosn't think she saw him leave Larien She noticed he wasnt with her anymore suddenly she jerked her horse to a stop and called out for him Sulu He comes to the entrance of the path and calls to her Behind you This way He takes off down the trail again Larien She whirls her horse around and gallops after him the wind whipping her face Sulu He quickly arives at his log home Leaning up against the side waiting for her to get there Larien She pulls her horse up the the log cabin and jumps gracefully off and looks around nice place Sulu He takes the piece of grass he is chewing out of his mouth He looks up at her Thanks Come on in He pushes himself up and opens the front door Standing to the side to let her in first Larien She nodded and said quietly Thank you as she walked in the house she looked around and then back to him lovely Sulu He nudges her with his elbow as he walks past her A sheepish grin on his face Sorry there's only one bed He looks back at her and smiles Larien She laughs softly not knowing what to do or say she looked out side as a strike of lightning flashed Sulu He goes over to her and pulls her in close to his chest He cuddles her There there now Don't be afraid of the lightning Larien She laughed softly and looked at him putting her head on his chest I'm not afraid of lightning Sulu He cuddles her still I know your not I just like to make up an exuse to hold you in my arms Larien She laughed and kissed his neck softly pulling her lips away from his neck she looked at him she felt safewho says you need an excuse to hold me Sulu He looks at her and smiles Ok Then I'll just hold you forever He pulls her close again Kissing her forehead as he dose so Larien She smiles at him and leans her forehead against his chin I'd like that Sulu He holds her close to his chest Lightning flashing all around them He kisses her forehead and begins to rock from side to side slowly Humming softly Larien She closes her eyes his humming lulling her into a sense of calmness she swayed with him and relaxed Sulu He continues to sway Holding her closly Forgetting about the thunder crashing around them He gets lost in the moment He starts to sing softly to her Theres only you in my heart my baby Thers no one like you Theres no one better cause your a one of a kind and you make me realize that your the only one for me Larien Her cheeks turned red slightly as she pulled slightly away just enough to look at him a smile creeping across her face her eyes seemed to sparkle Sulu His gaze is soft and full of love fo her He continues to sing His eyes not breaking her gaze Your like one of a kind perfect picture painted girl Thats so hard to find Even time after time Through good and bad times you where there for me Larien She blushed fully and lowered her eyes shocked at his boldness she was smiling still though Sulu He puts a finger under her chin and tilts her head back up to look at him He stops swaying and singing He looks her in the eye for a few seconds He then makes a swift movment forward and kisses her on the lips Closing his eyes as he dose so Enjoying the moment Larien She breathes in deeply suprised but she kissed him back and put her hand behind his head gently Sulu He slides his hands around her waist and keeps a firm grip on her Pulling her into him Deepening the kiss Larien she pulls his head towards her and kisses him back her eyes still closed she was breathless Sulu He Continues to kiss her Falling deeper and more lost in the moment Wishing that it would never end Larien She starts to lean back slightly bending under the pressure of the kiss she was kissing him back and she was loving it Sulu He bends over as she goes back He stops and pulls her back up into him He looks at her Thier faces no more than an inch apart He smiles his eyes sparkeling Larien she looked into his eyes and laughed softly and kissed him again once she had regained her breath Sulu He is takin by surprise as she kisses him He gets knocked off balance and falls backward onto the bed Laughing abit as he continues to kiss her Holding her ontop of him as they fall Wrapping is arms around her back once they land leaving her ontop of him Larien She blinked laying on top of him she shook off her suprise and laughed and kissed him on the lips again Sulu He kisses her back as she befor setting her back down He kisses her deeply swiftly He then pulls away and looks her in the eye A look of glee still on his face He speaks Unable to hold back the joy from coming to his voice Oh pretends to be offended making it clear she was pretending she gives the Ugh sound and walks into the living room Sulu He looks up Only lifting his head up He then sprigs after her Sneaking up behind her and wraping his arms around her waist from behind Holding his hands togher infront of her abdoman He sways back and forth slowly again Theres only you in my heart my baby Theres no one like you eyes the couch and then turns back to him Sulu He continues to sway Opening his pastelle purple eyes glimmering down at her His head on her shoulder So am I m'love Wich would you prefer The sofa or the bed His gaze never leaves hers while he speaks Larien She tilts her head toward the couch The couch please she says quietly Sulu He closes his eyes and tilts his head down a bit speaking in that the other room His gaze never leaving the floor His shoulders hunched over Larien She closed her eyes and lay down on the couch bringing her knees to her chest So much for being a romantic dayshe told herself Sulu He continues to walk though the other room twards his bed His feet dragging and his head hung low He falls down on the bed and smuthers his face into his pillow Holding it tightly and he begins to cry silently to himself Thinking he was a falierat life now But understanding her reasons to her actions Larien She cried herself to sleep that nighther dreams unpleasant He falls asleep tears rolling down his cheeks when he finally dose He dreams about her In a beautiful meadow She is dancing and twirling about a smile on her face He keeps reaching out for her but she keeps slippping out of his grasp The light of her slowly fades into blackness and he wakes up Crying still Unable to fall asleep He just lies there all night unable to fall back asleep Larien She wakes up after about three hours of sleeping and lays on the couch crying silently Sulu He stares up at the seiling Unable to find any happieness in himself He sits up and lets his feet him the floor with a thmp Slouching in the agony of his loss Larien She got up and went outside her dark pale figure became lost in the darkness and was invisible to anyone looking for her Sulu He hears the door close and gets up and hurridly runs to the door Seeing that Larien was gone when he ran by the couch He stands out on his front porch and calls out for his love Larien Larien Please come back He starts to cry Making the sound obvious in his voice I can't live without you in my life He is totally cryig now I need you Larien She stopped in her tracks Did he really think she was leaving him A pale figure appeared out of the middle of the darkness Sulu He sees her figure and runs to her Clutching her in his arms still crying Please Don't scare me like that Tell me where your going I would have let you go I was worried Larien She looked at him quietly and said calmly SuluI have times when I need to be aloneto think she looked at him quietly but I wont ever leave you Sulu He speaks still clutching her I just want to he is done speaking He continues to bow showing her much respect Larien She looks at him tears filling her eyes She walks over to him lifting his chin up she says softly I may be a princessbut you need not treat me like one Sulu He only looks up at her moving his head He still stays in a bowed position He forcably lowers his head to her in a bow Speaking in that position again Yes I do Cause watchess her vanish He recieves her massage calling after her I will And just remeber I love you Larien Larien She walked through the forrest her black figure slipping in and out of the shadows she called her horse to come to her the horse went thundering past Sulu toward Larien Eventually the black horse also vanished Sulu He watches her horse go to his love He smiles then turns and goes back in the house He walks over to the couch she was laying on Laying down in her place wanting to be close to her He eventually falls asleep Thinking of her he sleeps with a smile on his face Larien She rode through the darkness galloping fast and hard the horse had no gear onno bridle or saddle just Larien and the wind they flew through the darkness until morning when Larien rode in circles around the house cantering lightly with her arms outstrectched letting the sun pour down onto her face Sulu He awakes to the sound of a threebeat rythem He smiles knowing it's her He goes outside and opens the front door Watching her amazing talent Awing at the bond horse and rider has Larien She laughed not aware that Sulu was watching her she wrapped her arms around her horses neck its mane whipping in her face Sulu He continues to watch her His face displaying a look of happieness He aws at her Wishing he could do that Larien She sees him out of the corner of her eye and when she comes to the front door she throws herself off of the horse and lands in front of Sulu smiling and hearing the horse as if on cue run back to where it had origionally come from she smiled at Sulu Sulu He could only smile back Too overwhelmed at everything Wow Beautiful riding there Larien She laughed and squeezed his hand Thanks Sulu He raises her hand witch is in his He kisses it while still not breaking giggles alittle Turning around and skipping off into the night looking over her shoulder to see if he was following her Kaiden He blushed lightly and watches her for a moment as she skips off and then startes to follow her Kyiku She hides behind a tree off some distance infront of him not seeing him behind her She can hear him approaching and right when she sees him pass the tree she grabs him and pulls him in pinning him up agaist the tree with her body She smiles flirtily at him Kaiden Wah He cries out as she grabs him What are you doing He smirked at her toothly his fangs showing a bit Kyiku She giggles turning her shoulder in to face him revealing the same brand Only the one last number different from his own Kaiden His eyebrow shoots up Woah now thats just scary He smirked at her with a sort of flirtiness Kyiku She softens her grip on him abit to see what his next action would be her gaze unchanging Kaiden He reached his hand and touched her cheek softly he smiled and looked around Kyiku She rubs her cheek agaist his hand closing her eyes while doing so Kaiden he chuckled softly You are such a charm He spoke softly to her he runs his thumb over her cheekbone Kyiku She opens her about her next action She takes a deep sigh Kaiden He closes his eyes and keeps humming the tunehe relaxes feeling the comfort of the night's darkness around him Kyiku She goes limp at the sound of his voice and falls to her knees infront of him overcome by the tune Kaiden he opens his eyes at the movement and looks at her with slight confusion he stops humming for a second Kyiku Her body moves in a small circle then she collapses as he stops humming her body drained of energy She hits the solid cold ground with a 'thud' Her eyes closed and barley breathing Kaiden He watched her with alarm and shook her softly Are you alright He bit his lip tasting the blood in his mouth Kyiku She mumbles softly sluring her words terribly She opens her eyes abit to look up at him unable to move Only a glimmer of lust and love in her eyes They then flutter shut once more Kaiden He picked the up into his arms and held her close placing his cheek to her forehead Kyiku She looks up at him slightly as from hers a small smile on his face Kyiku She smiles softly her eyes only half closed Just do it already She knows him intentions and wants him Kaiden He kisses her softly but slightly hesitantly Kyiku She closes her eyes feeling his hesitance She stiffins in his arms Not to sure what to do next Kaiden He puts her down on a rock sitting besides her watching her silently Kyiku She sits on the rock her expression saddened by his reaction She looks off into the distance her chin apon a clenched fist Thinking of what she did wrong Kaiden He wraps his arms around her pulling her onto his lap with a small smile The tips of his fangs showed Kyiku She turns her head over her shoulder to look at him a smile coming to her face followed by brightening eyes She dosn't know what to say to him smirk Kyiku She nudges his lightly with her shoulder still giggling She opens her eyes slowly to look at him as she takes a deep breath after laughing It's alot of work The hair the cloths the giggle trouble within the clan these daysHe said looking up at the sky Kyiku She hurrys to his side and holds his arm stroking it slowly and softly Her eyes worried What's matter with the clan Kaiden Its nothing really just a little feud with eachother He chuckles Its rather funny but its deadly dangerous He sighed and looked at the ground Hunters have invaded our territory He added Kyiku She kisses him softly on the cheek Aww I wouldn't want to have anything happeen to your friends And what do you meen hunters Kaiden Vampire hunters there's camps all over our territory were trying to get rid of them but more and more keep comingcursed humans He muttered darkly Kyiku She looks thoughtful for a second I could get rid of them for ye It will cost you though She acts all sexy and inocent as she looks at him Kaiden He blinks at her Theres no need to get you involved in this He said softly We're working on itas log as they dont go near the house we're fine He said sounding cheerily Kyiku She puts on a puppydog face Can I help you anyway I don't want to see me baby hurt She sits on his lap and brushes a hand on his cheek turning his face to look at her She kisses him for a few moments Then looks at him still with her hand on his cheek Kaiden He kisses the hollow of her throat Well i must admitt after a frightening ly high number of killing almost hitting 300 deaths the have left the house alone but are camped on the borders of our territory He chuckled Am still not putting you in this He smiled an uneven smile Kyiku She looks at him flirtily What if it's not your choice What if I want to be by your side I will go on my own accord to help Kaiden Then i will stop you He grinned at her there's no way am letting you into the death trap that is our territory He poked her side Kyiku She glares at him a sad expression on her face She gets up off his lap and walks to a corner in the field to pout Not looking back or speaking to him as she does so She does a fair flip as she is walking off Hmmmppppffff Kaiden He shakes his head softly getting up and following her swiftly in less than a second he was right besides her Now dont get mad at me love Kyiku She turns her head the the east He pointed out and let out a high pitched whistle in warning to his clan mates Kyiku She grabs his hand and runs pulling him behind her She just heads east not knowing where she is going Wich way now I am just running blindly Kaiden Just keep heading east for about 5 miles then turn a bit south for 3 miles and then eat again till you smell human bloodour whole territory is rank with it He said softly Kyiku After a few minuets she is on thier territory she smells the rank stench of blood She keeps running running right on to the battle front She looks tword the humans Father She yells out over the ruckus All the fighting stops and all the vamps turn to look at her Father She hollers again Kaiden He drifts a bit away from her keeping his eyes on the ground growing something in an unknown language to his clan mates Kyiku She hears no reply and falls to her knees her head hung low She looks around her on the ground and finds a dagger She takes it in her grasp and begins slicing her wrists and jabbing at her forearm Seeing no point to live Kaiden He blinks in surprise by her actions and grabs her arms Stop itHe growled softly ignoring the ten pairs of eyes on him Dont hurt yourself He whispered soothingly Kyiku She looks up at him her eyes filled with sorrow and pain She feels the scarlet blood running down her arm She stands up and clings to him Begining to cry He's gone Kaiden Shhh its ok he whispered to her whiled waving his clanmates awaythey disapeared in an instant He may yet be alive Kyiku She continues to cry feeling the blood still running down her arm and dripping off the end of her elbow onto the leaves How can he be Kaiden He might just be wounded He said soothingly Go and look for him He offered looking around with a sigh Kyiku She looks up at him her eyes still watery I shall She turns from his grasp and runs a few steps Turning back around to look at him I'm sorry and goodbye She turns and runs off into the unknown finding the nearest blade and slitting her throte with it knowing there was no hope and that her father was dead smelling his blood on the breeze Kaiden he looks after her puzzled and involuntarily going after her one of his clanmates followed no far behind him Kyiku She lay there gasping for air feeling the blood gush on her neck She reaches a hand up and places it on the wound getting her fingers bloody She looks at them and smiles still gasping Kaiden He kneeled down besides her his expression was blank yet there was a dark fire in his eyes I knew i shouldnt of brought you here Kyiku She pushes herself up kissing him lovingly once again She looks at him still gasping and trying to speak I love you Kaiden Don't ever forget Kaiden He looked at her taking her hand away from her wound and pressing his hand against it looking around to noticed that his clanmate has spontaneously dissapeared again I'll take care of youHe whispered to her Let me heal this for you he controlled his voice Kyiku She looks at him the light in her eyes slowly fading from blood loss Can You She stammers gasping Kaiden Shh He said softly Dont speak He placed her on the ground removing his hand from her wound he bent down near it and licked her wound shut and bit his wrist placing it against her mouth drink He comanded Kyiku She did as he said and drunk hi blood She must have admitted that this was the first time she had had a real meal in quite a while She felt her heart beat slowing and she didn't feel the pain anymore She looks up at him her eyes showing a deep longing for him Kaiden He removed his hand from her mouth and bent down to kiss her deeply Are you alright now He whispered against her lips Kyiku She tryed to speak between kisses Yes with you by my side I will always be alright no matter what She places an unsteady hand on his cheek Kaiden You should rest now He said softly picking her up in his arms and sat with his back against a tree Kyiku She picks up his wrist and looks at it then begins to lick the blood from his wound She looks up at him while doing so She then rests her head on his shoulder and sighs still holding his injured wrist in her hands Kaiden He looks at her lovingly and starts to hum a tune that he often hears around the househe was aware of his clanmates peering at him from their hiding spots Kyiku She sighs and drifts to sleep liking the melody of his tune She is soon asleep in his arms Kaiden He watched her silently waiting for her to wake even though she had just gone to sleep he occasionaly stroked her cheek Kyiku She nuzzles against his arm every time she feels his touch She smiles big enjoying being in his arms Kaiden He chuckled softly afraid of moving because he knew that it would wake her and she needed her rest instead he just gazed of into nothingnes not really seeing anything Kyiku She hears the rustle of his clan mates about the forest in her sleep She whimpers sometimes almost as if she was afraid of the sound She slowly blinks awake realizing she is still holding his injured wrist She looks up at him with a warm gaze She then pushes herself up and kisses him not caring who is watching Kaiden He was snapped out from his daze by her kiss Huh did i wake you He said softly looking at her Kyiku She blinks slowly up at him No ye didn't wake me Tis other things that did Kaiden Hmm maybe we should get out from here He looked around hearing the sounds of a small fight nearby Kyiku she looks off into the distance I want your mates to stop fighting my halfkin are packing up and leaving There is no need to kill any more that I love snifs it recognizing the scent She turns back to him and grabs his arm as she runs by him Pulling him along She runs through th forest following the smell until she reached a meadow filled with pink and purple lilys She picked a few and handed them to him kissing him as she did so Kaiden He chuckled nervously as she handed him the flowers kissing her back softly Kyiku She feels his nervousness and stops kissing him She turns and walks away letting his hand slip from her grasp as she moved off Kaiden He looked at her puzzled and walked after her putting his hands on her shoulders What's wrong love Kyiku She looks back over her shoulder as she walks smiling at him then looking forward again and continuing to walk Kaiden He follows her curiously Am guessing nothing is wrong then He said with a raised eyeborw Kyiuk The figure he is following turns to sparkles and blows off in the wind the real Kyiku watching him from a near by tree Awwaiting to see his reaction to the demon puppet Kaiden He blinks softly looking around with a frown Well this is interesting He said softly to himself as he looked around growling softly Kyiku She flys out of the tall oak to land behind him she puts her hands on his shoulders and whispers in his ear I wanted to see what you'd do I'm surprised you didn't notice when I switched places with the puppet Can you think of a time where I might have She runs her fingers through his hair flirtily kissing up and down his neck as she did so Kaiden He narrowed his eyesNo I cant He said annoyedly a shiver running down his spine he reached back and poked her belly Kyiku She giggles as he pokes her and steps infront of him taking his arms and putting them around her She leans back into him Enjoying his comfort and warmth Kaiden He sighs cheeks She pulls out of is grasp and sits down a few feet from him sobbing Kaiden He frowned at her Whats wrong now He asked This isnt somesort of trick again is it He walks over to her kneeling infront of her putting his hand on her knee Kyiku She dosn't look up at him as he speaks she finally does after a few moments I'm not enough Kaiden What are you talking about love He said looking at her with a confused expression Kyiuk She continues to look at him her expression unreadable being so mixed and jumbled up with emotions You want to die And you arn't the least bit interested in me You said your bored Kaiden He blinked Thats not what i meant at all and you knowi cant diei love you okwe all need to have some funmy favorite way to have fun is cliff diving He looked at her with a small Ivy A big black stallion trots up a hill His head bent in His long thick black forlock covering over his eyes His long mane hitting off his tightly bend in neck His fast hard breath showing in the cold wintery night air He stop at the top A far maiden sit apon his majestic back Her long black dress hanging off the sides of him Her pale cold hands wrapped around his thick reins Her silvery white eyes shine under the moon light Some trigs tyed together in the back of her long dress Holding up the trappless dress Her dark brown curling hair resting on her pale back Her pale face sticks out in the dark night With the thick black lines around her eyes make her skin and face seem to glow Ainion He sits in a tall tree his back up agianst the trunk He sigs deeply His breath turning to dew drops as soon as it leaves his body's warmth He notices a shadowy figure atop the hill Making an outline in the moon Ivy The moon hitting the silver bightle just right making it shine Her very light pink lips seem to almost blend in with her pale face As she squezes the horse forward The mist hitting against her cold face The foggy night making them blend in more As the fog spilts in two as they pass by it at a trot His hooves making a clanging nosie as they hit the rock road Echoing through the valley and woods on either side of them She sits the trot as if she where sitting in a chair Not moving at all Staring blindly ahead at the light of the Inn Through the fog A bloody look dwelling deep with in her eyes Ainion He watches the girl smirking to himself He stands up in the tall trees as she passes below him He then leaps up into the night air above the limb and does a row of flips and tucks to the ground landing infront of her horse in the shadows Looking almost like a stone Ivy She jurks her pale hands back pulling Dusyanta to a frightful stop Jurking on the horses mouth Cutting up its mouth with the sharp bit She glares at the man The moon making her pale skin have a shine to it Her dark curly brown hair stops moving back and forward As she stares violently at the boy Ainion He stands up from his crouched position as her steed comes to a halt He turns his head to the side abit and places a hand on his hip the other by his side His voice is cold yet intreeged at the two Allo m'lady What brings you out here He arcs a furry brow at her A sheepish grin on is face Ivy She competely still waiting for the next order She looks down into his uncolored eyes Her silvery white eyes glittering from the moon shinning in them Ainion He continues to smile He then looks out into the distance and whistles an elagent tune Then hearing the sound of wings drawing nearer Ivy Her ear twitches back as she hears something fly near She slowly turns around her head Tighting up her reigns on Dusyanta She turns her head back around Keeping a watchful eye on Dusyanta remembering what happend last time Ainion He watches the outline of his horse Aniori As it draws nearer she lands gracefully Her long black main flowing in the slight breeze and her forelock covering one eye She folds her wings up aginst her back and walks slowly up to the stallion Putting her nose to his to exchange a greeting and find out more about him She squeels and paws the ground then continues to sniff him Ivy Dusyanta ears already pricked up from the sound of the wings before any others could hear He looks at the mare Putting his head up high but it still bent in He exchanges the greeting back Squeeling very high piched Lowering his head still talking to her Unsure his pins his ears back after a while with a mean look Ivy backs him up away from the mare Looking at the beautiful horse Aniori She turns her ears out to the side and lowers her head to him as he pins his ears back at her pulling up his hooves on her neck Then ripping out the flesh He kicks at Aniori's face Then cantering to Ainion his eyes wild as he charges at Ainion Ivy She crawls up into a tree Pulling out a book almost the hole thing filled with black pages She pulls out a pennicle Pulling up her legs together Her back against the tree trunk She starts to draw on the book Caringless about what Dusyanta did sence they asked for it But knowing he wouldnt leave her She drew what she was watching A wild stallion running around with hatered all over his expresstion Aniori She does not move as he bites her not even feeling the pain She then opens her wings the wound on her neck already starting to close She then lands on his back pinning him to the ground under her weight befor he reached Ainion She looks over at Ainion then back down to Dusyanta licking him on the cheek softly asking him to calm down She still continues to pin him to the ground Dusyanta He jurks his head up at hers His mouth hitting her face He kicks up with his legs Rolling him self over jumping back up as soon as he was out from Aniori's pin He kicks his back legs up into the air He turns him self around Jumping up on his back legs waving his front in the air Landing right on Aniori's stomcha Feeling her ribs crush under his hooves He jumps off her galloping around kicking his legs into the air His ears pinned back As he starts to run through the woods Aniori She closes her eyes and lays there as he pounds her into the ground She then gets up swiftly and uses her flashstep Cutting him off and lowering her head to him inviting him into her space to speak with her Dusyanta He rears up kicking out his front legs He lands turning him self around on his hooves with out moving them off the ground He pushes his what I said She whimpers a nother tear falling down her face doing the same at the other one before Dusyanta He all of a sudden stops looks around and walks under a tree Laying down catching his The article was translated by hmm I startle when I see Jonna Nygren I have met her boyfriend many times before and there are so many similarities in Jonna's appearance that remind me of Ville The famous politenes and positive attitude Jonna is very careful about her public image these days She has been hosting music programs on television for years now even before meeting her current partner First on Moon TV then on SubTV Her current show Sessions is running on SubTV almost daily Jonna has also been working as a waitress in a restaurant Tori in Helsinki ans she still occationally helps around in there Before we meet Jonna has taken her daily walk in the centre of Helsinki a route that goes from Lapinlahti hospital to Kaivopuisto The bright fall morning has blinded her mind as well Beautiful start for the day I usually wake up around nine and go for a walk Every day is a wonderful challenge Why should people sleep 'till afternoon Rock'n roll life is not just cliches and therefore her partner has started to wake up earlier too Eight years ago Jonna moved from Jyvskyl To Helsinki I came here to spend a weekend and stayed I started studying in evening school worked in a shop tselling clothes danced in Step Up group that is run by Marko Bjurtsrm Now Jonna is better known She however reminds that she started working on Moon TV in 2000 and got the job on her own Her current relationship only started a year ago People often come to talk to Jonna in restaurants the feedback is usually quite positive No one has been aggressive so far On the internet some of the comments can be quite nasty but Jonna doesn't let them bother herself Her mind is at peace I spend 15 minutes in silence every single day I just relax and calm down and forget the hectic life It is very important to me emotionally It's easy for me to draw to myself I have been practicing this as long as I can remember Before I go to sleep I practise yoga because it's difficult for me to fall asleep I wake up even to the smallest sound and when I wake up I can't fall back to sleep again I often sleep only 4 hours Jonna says she is a person who spends a lot of time thinking She twists and turns thoughts in her mind until she can se all sides of it That's why 15 minutes of quiet time is important to her I also go to Jyvskyl to catch some breath I like the little town atmosphere My dad and my grandma are there too I never party in Jyvskyl I jsut read watch TV and eat traditional finnish dishes But I could never live in Jyvskyl anymore On sunday I already start yearning to get back to Helsinki Helsinki is a wonderful city The truth is that it's the only place in Finland where you can feel some big city vibes You can go anywhere with only your thoughts as company but you always know where to find more company The sounds of the city make you feel safe in a way Jonna is not really a party animal She likes to party but only occationally and even after a night of partying she wakes up at nine in the morning Years ago Jonna decided to become a dancer But I trained too hard I should have danced only when I felt like it Now yoga is more important to me Jonna is 25 years old She doesn't build fancy fantasies anymore but who says one should give one's dreams My biggest and only dream is to have a lot of children I wan't and I'm going to have a lot of children Maybe not just yet but before I turn 30 Anything else I do in my life doesn't matter as much It all comes down to having priorities Inspite of being close to heavy metal Jonna doesn't dress in black or paint her face white There is no pain lingering in the air My friends always laugh at me because I don't even recognise songs by HIM We dont listen to HIM at home If there is onbe music genre I really love then it's reggae It makes me feel so good Jonna doesn't consider herself to be a celebrity but there are some limits in what she can do now I can't argue publicly anymore she laughs She's going to stay being herself There are no problems She seems amazingly problemfree in every way Life is easy when you know how to be nice even to people you don't like
