Me and Jeaniewell and Steve getting in on the shot lol They're the best We've been really blessed in that department Steve raised us when he was married to our Mom We spent more time with him than anyone else My Dad never came to any of our activities or school functions or anything like that but Steve has always been there for all four of us like that even after my Mom and him split up He married Jean a few years later and I guess you'd say we were part of the package lol shrugs They've played the role my Dad and Stepmom should have for most of my life We're closer to the two of them actually and see them more Jean is the best thing that ever happened to my little sister and brother even my Mom knew that I feel like we've always been close also but obviously she played more of a Mom influence to me after I lost mine It's neat she's sort of a combo of a Mom and a Sister in one She was a huge support and help to me when I was pregnant with Jaeli and when she was born it made not having my own Mom there much more easier than I anticipated They're Papa and Nana where Jaeli's concerned and I'm grateful for that too it was something I stressed about when I was pregnant with hernot having my Mom and not being close to my Dadit bothered me to think Jaeli would have a lacking in the grandparent area there Obviously she never has though lol Anyway yeah lol

Nightshade Mystaria is one of my Naruto RPC girls She is in love with Sasuke Uchiha and when he left Konoha she used her kakki genkei which enables her to turn into any animal she chooses and turned herself into a cat Three years later Lady Tsunade forced her back into a human and she was put on a team with Alexia Ujimachi and Enola Jurichu She was sent on a mission with the two to search for some scrolls that contained forbidden jutsus written on them that had been stolen The girls each searched different areas Nightshade searched the Sound Village While she was there Sasuke found her snooping around and attacked her She was so in love with him she wouldn't fight back and he noticed this He pinned her to the ground and demanded to know why she wouldn't defend or fight back In a shaky voice she replied I love you Sasuke I could never ever hurt you He was surprised by his reply and decided to test this statement He pulled the zipper of her shirt and felt her tense up but she didn't try to stop him Hn your serious he whispered Nightshade left the Sound Village the next day at midnight she had a bite mark on her left hand that looked like it came from a snake but no other wounds She simply told her comrades I ran into some complications nothing I can't handle but to her shock and horror three weeks later she discovered she was pregnant

of color to even get a foot in the door Lathan has seen a steady flow of opportunities come her way Maybe thats because shes that rare actress who is both beautiful and talented Or perhaps its because she doesnt cower when she hears Hollywoods favorite Nword No There are scripts out there with Black women in lead roles she says emphatically Its just that the people in power who are making decisions arent interested in our stories Thats why you focus on the positive and know that theres always an exception If theyre not interested in telling my stories then Ill get them told somewhere else Lathan might just have that kind of power Studio heads will tell you that Black films dont do well overseas which is one of the reasons why theyre hesitant to make more than a handful per decade They obviously havent been to Japan Lathan claims that she was once mobbed at a hotel by Japanese tourists calling her Brown Sugar So whats the problem Its a doubleedged sword Lathan says The studios in discovering new things about herself and the people places and things around her Im constantly trying to grow as a human being and be the best person I can be she says Thats part of my belief that were responsible for our own growth Perhaps thats the reason why Lathan doesnt feel that many of the veteran actresses she respects like Angela Bassett Woodard Audra McDonald and Ruby Dee have paved the way for her in Hollywood Nor does she feel as though shes done likewise for the Lauren Londons Meagan Goods and Jurnee Smolletts of the world The truth is that I dont think of it that way she says I love seeing usBlack womenworking in different roles and I wish that we had more opportunities I dont know that they specifically opened up any doors for me Maybe they did but thats not for me to say Hauser is her something new on the side Also in the mix are Woodard Perry Kathy Bates Taraji P Henson and Robin Givens Its fun Its juicy Its scandalous Lathan says Apparently Andrea is such a trip that Lathan guarantees the audience will cheer out loud when she gets slapped Preys is the first time Lathan and Perry have worked together and she praises his work ethic and the positive impact hes follow money in this town Its all about the greenAll in the FamilyAs the daughter of Stan Lathan one of Hollywoods most prolific sitcom producers and Broadway actress Eleanor McCoy Lathan has known about the pitfalls of show business for a very long time But despite her pedigree the acting bug didnt really bite her until she was accepted into the prestigious Yale Drama Schoolthe same program that spawned the likes of Bassett Meryl Streep and Paul Newmanfollowing her graduation from the University of California Berkeley with a degree in English I was always acting in school she said I was Ares is the great Olympian God of War Battlelust Civil Order and Manly Courage Ares who became the Greek god of war had a miserable childhood The only son of the mighty Zeus ruler of the Olympians and his wife Hera Ares was disliked by his father from the moment he was born and was barely tolerated from then on Perhaps Zeus just couldn't warm up to the little guy because he hadn't had a part in Ares' conception or his birth Hera with the help of a magical herb had managed to get herself pregnant with the help of Zeus or any man a process called parthenogenesis Note Most myths name Ares as the son who was born as a result of this immaculate conception but in some versions the son was HephaestusHera had done this to even the score with her husband for having given birth to Dionysus by himself A short version of that story Semele one of Zeus' many lovers lay dying while pregnant with Zeus' son Dionysus With the help of Hermes Zeus removed the unborn child and implanted him under the skin of his thigh where he remained until he was ready to be born For whatever reason Zeus failed to bond with his infant son Ares Zeus was not even particularly concerned when the young boy went missing a few years later and didn't expend much effort looking for the poor lad As it turns out the young Ares had been abducted by two playmates the giant Aloadai twins who had caught him and locked him in a bronze jar Ares stayed captive in the bronze jar almost losing his mind in captivity until the stepmother of the unruly twins figured out what had happened and told Zeus' assistant Hermes who was able to release Ares from the jarAfter this incident Hera decided that Ares' might be better off living somewhere else and arranged for him to live with Priapus one of the minor deities Priapus trained the young Ares in the art of dancing and later in the martial artsEven though he was welltrained and served as the god of war Ares wasn't a great fighter and lost many of his battles especially those involving his halfsister and archenemy Athena who was the goddess of wisdom as well as the goddess of war not to mention being Daddy's favorite Ares represented war conducted up close and personal hand to hand combat and the frenzy of battle and bloodlust Athena and Zeus superbly rational favored war at a distance strategic planning playing according to the rules of the game cold and calculating by comparison Ares style was instinctual passionate and primitivenot destined to make him appear heroic in the eyes of a culture that valued reason and moderation There were other reasons as well The Greek god Ares the god least favored by the citizens of Greece and by his parents Zeus and his wife Hera was seen by the ancient Greeks as a mercenary warrior filled with a bloodlust that could not be appeased and a fickle god as well one who would fight for either side just to have a chance to vent his rage Ares' unpopularity was probably inevitable given that the Greeks of that time were mostly involved in petty wars amongst themselves wars where allegiances were unclear and shifted frequently Any god of war would have found it very difficult to please everyone in that situationIt's easy to see why Ares' other incarnation as Mars the Roman God of War fared much better the Roman viewpoint was no doubt influenced by the fact that Rome was usually at war with foreign powers so that a god of war could be someone that could be worshipped and viewed as heroic one always battling for a just cause ie their side During the Trojan War Ares fought on the side of the Trojans against the Greeks as a show of support for his lover Aphrodite who had set the war in motion This did not win him any points with the other Olympians who except for Apollo supported the Greeks He charged at Athena who was taunting him about it and she calmly reached down and picked up a rock and smashed him over the head with it stopping his advanceAthena also convinced one of the Greek warriors to wound Ares in the side during the battle and Ares bellowed so loudly in pain and rage that the earth shook He complained to Zeus about Athena's humiliating him on the battlefield and Zeus dismissively called him a whine who enjoyed nothing but brawling Ares rarely went out of his way to come to the aid of his fellow Olympians But once bored with the endless petty wars of the Greeks he decided to rescue Hades who was being held captive by King Sisyphus Ares came to his assistance threatening to decapitate Sisyphus if he didnt release him and turn himself in as
