Simon was ignored by the adults of his village and snubbed by the girls who considered him disgusting Along with his fear of earthquakes Simon developed low self-esteem and had many cowardly tendencies His only friend and role model growing up was Kamina a brash and eccentric older boy who had an obsession with escaping the underground world for the surface which he visited as a child with his father Simon was slowly recruited into Team Gurren along with several other boys and lead by Kamina made several attempts to reach the surface over several years During one attempt a sudden earthquake trapped Team Gurren within a chamber and cut off the supply of oxygen Simon began to panic but after inspiration from Kamina he managed to dig all of the Team Gurren members out of danger Yoko would later recall that Kamina himself was terrified during this incident but he hid his fear from Simon knowing Simon was the only one capable of rescuing his gangnnOne day during the digging of a new tunnel Simon discovers a small drill-shaped object that periodically glows Later that day he unearths a large face in the ground which he shows to Yoko and Kamina after Jiiha Village is attacked by a large Gunmen The face is revealed to be a miniature Gunmen and the object Simon dug up the key to starting it up With the aid of this mech which Kamina names Lagann Simon destroys the large Gunmen attacking Jiiha and rises to the surface world

The film opens with a girl waiting for a friend in a subway station She notices a pair of pink shoes at the edge of the platform As she approaches them eerie music plays in the background until she is startled by another girl who seems to appear out of nowhere The shoes mysteriously are already on the first girl's feet as she explains she just found them there The other girl coldly claims the shoes are hers that she saw them first and the two begin to fight Eventually the second girl shoves the first girl to the ground and walks away with the shoes which mysteriously end up on her feet Seeming happy and completely unlike her behaviour when she was fighting over the shoes she walks down an abandoned corridor until she hears footsteps behind her She turns and looks terrified as something rushes towards her knocking her to the ground We see the shoes some distance away from her filled blood that sinks into the shoes then disappears as if it was never there The girl looks horrified but this time with her eyes are fixed in the direction of the shoes She begins to scream and as the camera pulls away we see her sitting in a trail of blood leading away from her with her feet cut off at the anklesnnAfter a scene of a mysterious woman dancing the protagonist Sun-jae (Kim Hye-su) is introduced Her husband Seong-jun (Lee Eol) is sitting in the living room watching their daughter Tae-soo (Park Yeon-ah) practice ballet Sun-jae calls for him to come and eat but he is more concerned with his daughter's dancing When he finally does eat he notices that the meat on his plate is still somewhat raw He gives Sun-jae a disparaging look and leaves the table

Darkness bathed her she was awash in nothingness Keoshi Kamarge opened her jade irises to the blackness W--Where am I she asked glanced around the sea of black You need to see what will happen Keoshi if you die a woman's voice echoed through the air but yet seemed like it was right behind her Mom's voice Mom What's happening Keoshi asked as the darkness faded away Suddenly she found she was standing on ground the sky was deary and gray and small slabs of tombstones stuck out of the earth She was in the cemetery A group of people stood before a freshly dug grave a coffin was sinking into the ground Keoshi recognized several of the people in that crowd her cousin Shizume Uncle Kamajii Aunt Mazari Kenji Masato Mitsuki A hysterical loud sobbing reached Keoshi's ears That sounded like Keoshi turned to the two standing in front of the descending coffin her sister Kyoko and her brother Kamoki Keoshi bit her lip Kyoko was screaming down at the box as it disappeared crying and held by Kamoki Kamoki was shaking tears streaming down his face The entire Hashimoto family was sobbing as well Keoshi's heart tightened as she gazed at them all Everyone she whispered Butshe still wanted to stay here with Mom and Dad Then that moment the graveyard dispersed and another scene took its place She was in front of her house and Kimiko's minions were all over Malikai was fighting tooth and nail against them shielding a terrified Shizume Kamoki was battling bravely as well but the men were winning Keoshi watched in shock W-what's going on What're Kimiko's men doing here Were they here for Kamoki Malikai was brought down by a gunshot he bled profusely on the ground Keoshi gaped in horror Haruki in the group of henchmen stepped forward and grabbed Shizume dragging her away Shizume was crying screaming at Malikai What Why are they taking Shizume Keoshi demanded to the sky but Mom's voice didn't answer her (to be continued)

Beni is one of my latest role play characters He's 12 years old and is part of a plot that we (friends and I) call OvergrownnName: Beni (ben-y)nAge: 12nGift: Like Banchi if possible If not then he's regularnPersonality: Beni is a very energetic and cocky kid He thinks he could do anything int eh world but is scared of most things bigger then him when they are actually right there He is pretty snobby to new people he meets but is a little attached to people he knows well which isn't manynnHistory: Lived in a cave with his parents until one day they didn't come back He pretty much lived off of the big insects and stuff that are easy to kill since he was 10 Even though it's only two years he thinks he's the best at surviving out by himself But he did have some technical difficulties with a monkey that was almost 3 times his small 4'2 size It played with him a bit making him terrified of the big monster then started to pick his hair making some spots not able to grow back So he always has long hair to cover it Next the money started to play with his face gouging his eye A dog about the same size came tackling the monkey to eat it Beni scurried away able to use one sleeve to replace his eyes to stop the bleeding and the other along with his shoe laces to make an eye patch He doesn't have the sleeve in his eye anymore but keeps the eye patch

Furrari was a starving street kitten when I found her I heard her from four stories up as she stood on a street corner defiantly crying for help as Koreans walked right by her I went downstairs and put my hand out to her She let me pet her I picked her up and held her and she purred --- There were lots of feral cats around the apartment highrises in Korea raiding the garbage bins and living in the basements but none had homes as Koreans generally despise cats No feral Korean cat had let me pet her before And while small kittens will sometimes let you pet them this kitten was about three months old far too old to still be gentle She seemed to know she was not meant to be a street cat that she was meant to live inside and sleep on a bed --- She had three big meals in three hours promptly figured out what to do with the bed and after a nap got a bath She looked very pretty after cleaning off the grime but very skinny --- I had not intended to have any more cats yet I could not dump her back on the street and no Korean wanted her When I brought this little kitten in to school most of the teachers were terrified and refused to touch her --- I decided to call her Furrari She quickly adapted to life inside and was very intelligent affectionate and generally well behaved She liked to get warm by sleeping under the covers next to me resting her head on my shoulder and sometimes would crawl under the covers by herself --- About the same time a neighbor from Britain found a newborn kitten abandoned rolled up in newspaper in a field Actually their dog found it and adopted it as her own He was named Yoda They grew up together Every time I brought Furrari over to play Yoda would lick Furrari on the face a cat's way of showing affection --- They reminded me of my old cats Sam and Scamper two feral kittens I found in a field Sam would always wash Scamper to tell her he loved her And Scamper the first time I brought her inside promptly crawled up on the bed and fell asleep
